The plot of this story is pretty interesting. The world was in peace and then the peace-makers disappeared so the evil empire took over. So the other nations were all but wiped out until the savior returned. The special effects were pretty cool - the slow-down scenes during the fight were neat too. We have kids that are 5, 6, and 12 and we all liked it for our family.

I thought it was a good movie not like the cartoon but it’s get straight to the point which is good enough for me besides actors not looking like how I expected overall it was a good movie night with my kids and spouse

it's a good movie for all ages. Sidenote - it does not follow the animation series, so if you are hoping to find something along those lines, this does not follow it at all.... still good movie though!

Critics have called the Last Airbender a bomb and I have seen many half star or no star reviews, but the movie isn't that bad. The movie is visually stunning. I've seen this the first time on a regular tube tv when it became available (can't remember if it was dvd or vhs), and didn't like it much then. But, the blu ray was on sale and watched it on my 65" 4k and even though it's not in 4k, the graphics are awesome. This movie looks great in HD. Thanks Best buy for the great prices on blu ray and my 65" 4k tv.

Enjoyed the movie and it’s visuals are great! Like the cartoon as well and it’s significantly different but I love it for the differences.

This isn't a review for the actual movie, although I did enjoy it... even if it was a little bit of bad acting. The 3D effects were done quite well. I don't think this was actually released in the theatre as a 3D movie (I could be wrong). I have a M60 Vizio, 240Hz TV, passive 3D, and the effects are crisp and without any kind of lag. THe surround effects were done pretty decent as well. Overall, I would buy this movie at a discount price (I did), but I would not pay the regular MSRP. I recommend buying if it is below $15.

Purchased for my son and he has enjoyed watching it a couple of times. Grew up watching the cartoon version.

Not M. Night Shyamalan's best work, but it's a nice movie to watch with the kids every now and then. Acting is not the best, but good visuals and story.

3d is ok. If you're a fan of the animated series, the movie is a little bit of a let down, but it is still an enjoyable movie to see.

Anyone that has been a fan of the cartoon series would love this live action movie. Originally they planned a series of movies to compliment the cartoons, it is a shame they couldn't get the funding to complete the project. This was a better than expected movie to go along with the cartoon.

This is a good movie for kids and their parents. The special effects are well done.
