    The Sound of Meaning

This music is the heart of the movie. A movie that is an allegory for the faith and identity of the world. Water, which plays a central role in many of M. Night's films, also plays a central role in many religions. One where it is quite central is Christianity. Though the story is inspired by eastern art forms, it is a creation of two white Americans, sparked by a yoga class, and--in the end--manages to illustrate an amazing cross-cultural accord. This movie and it's music is about Aang's training in the nature of water, grace acceptance. He must deal with the pain of memories he's trapped in his heart to resolve a peace, because "...The Avatar was not meant to hurt others." Enjoy this great work of significance. A soundtrack to a film that went way over the short-sighted critics' heads.
