A VIETNAM TRUE WAR STORY OF A BRAVE SOLDIER MEDIC WHO SAVED 60 AMERICAN SOLDIERS AND WOULDN'T STOP GOING INTO DANGER UNTIL HE WAS FINALLY SHOT. A TRUE HERO HONORED ONLY AFTER HIS DEATH , DECADES LATER . A TRUE HERO .

IMO this is must watch for every American. The procedure for a Medal of Honor must not be a political plaything as a soldier has usually lost their life, our veterans are continually being failed for treatment of PTSD and grieving Gold Star families are left with unanswerable questions about the actions of their loved one.

A true story of a fallen soldier during the Vietnam War. His name is amongst over 52,000 other names on the Vietnam Memorial. Many whom returned alive were spit on and called baby killers. American protesters showed total disrespect to all military branches of war heroes. As a Gulf War veteran, I am ashamed of those people, to include the coward Senator John Kerry.

Both audio and video quality are excellent. The thing that makes this movie most interesting is the way individual stories are woven into the main story line. It uses the individual veterans' lifelong traumatic effects of experiencing the inhumanity of war to emphasize the severity of corruption in the main story line. Well acted and a story very effectively told.

Based on a true story, this movie must be watched to see how a family tries to have the Medal of Honor awarded posthumously to their son, and how politicians and bureaucrats fought them all the way. The movie took 20 years before it could be made, and in real life it took 32 years before William H. Pitsenbarger was finally awarded the MOH.

This one is extremely well written and well acted. Those of us who were in the military during Viet-Nam, and got treated badly by the public can relate . It really showed how just on person can make all the difference during combat. Not only the guys shooting, but also the Medics who take care of the troops who are hurt. Very well done.

This is such a great movie! I bought it for my husband who is obsessed with history and loves war movies. This is wonderfully done and we both fully enjoyed it. The movie literally arrived on my doorstep less than two days after ordering it and was packaged securely. Highly recommend.

I am a big supporter of our Vets. I think that many forget about our Viet Nam Vets lately because we focus on the Gulf War Vets. I don't take anything away from them either. All of our Vets need our Love, support, and help. This movie is a good reminder of what sacrifices our soldiers made for us.

This is a very good movie for those who remember the Viet Nam War. Plenty of flashback scenes reliving the drama of the conflict in Viet Nam. Our current Politicians could learn something about honor and doing the right thing in protecting todays servicemen.

A lot of action in this army movie good plan I think anybody that was in a service would like this one again this is for adults only with the killing going on you don’t need kids to see this

Great movie!!! Being an Air Force vet, I love seeing movies based on true events. Especially when it comes to an Air Force airman being awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who enjoys war movies.

I never knew about this part of Vietnam! It's a shame that our own government waits so long to share the moment of our heroes, military and civilian. Any one who helps another human being no matter what is a hero in my book. Great movie!

Was not sure of the story line of this movie but ended up staying engaged in it and loved the movie. Highly recommend if you like movies based on common Americans doing extraordinary things for their brothers in arms.

This film was excellent it did showed real life wartime Vietnam back in 1966. It also displayed the male character was so obsessed in standing up for a war hero whom the government probably overlooked his name by acc-ident.

I planned to see this movie in theaters but was gone with the military during its showings. I am so glad I bought the Blu-ray and watched it finally. Great movie and I will be watching it on a regular basis.

My wife and I were not able to see this movie in our local movie theater and am happy we were able to purchase it at a good price from BestBuy and am looking forward to watching it as often as we want.

The saga is told-well, acted with sensitivity, but it is an unfortunate retelling of a sad event in Viet Nam in the year of 1966. It is also A story of “uncaring” politicos in Washing, DC. Further, it is also a story that will bring more than just a tear to you eye and perhaps even “touch” you emotionally.

I was stationed at a classified base during the Vietnam War at a Radar Site and used to hang out with the PJ’s. About time it was shown what these guys did “So that Others May Live “, very unselfish.

Great movie. Be sure to have a box of tissues nearby as this one will shed a tear or two or three. Based on a true story of PJ who eventually earned the Medal of Honor. Great cast too.

I initially didn't think this movie wasn't that good due to the quality of the production and acting....but as the movie moved along and got more into the plot....the movie started to take on more of it's own character with a genuine bottom line the brought out a truer story bases on a true hero!!!
