    Amazing action right from the beginning. Cool period piece about the struggle of a boy who grow up to become a great warrior.

    This would probably be a more enjoyable series if you had not read all of Bernard Cornwell's books. As an adaptation it falls short. There are some positives, but the source material that the writers had (to use) was so good and they produced a C version of that material.

    A real hidden gem, a friend told me about it. Has a little Vikings mixed with dome Braveheart!! Awesome!!
