    Amazing action right from the beginning. Cool period piece about the struggle of a boy who grow up to become a great warrior.

    I really enjoy period movies/ series and this one fit the bill. The scenery and costumes seemed authentic and the cast was great.

    This would probably be a more enjoyable series if you had not read all of Bernard Cornwell's books. As an adaptation it falls short. There are some positives, but the source material that the writers had (to use) was so good and they produced a C version of that material.

    Great entertainment, great acting, great story. Cross between Vikings and GOT. I hope there is a sequel.
