By far, TLOU is one of the greatest games of all time, crafted by the geniuses at Naughty Dog studios. Even if you played through the original on the PS3, I highly recommend playing through it again on current gen systems. With improved textures, 60 FPS (which you should keep on, even if you reduce graphical capabilities by a small fraction), and the Left Behind DLC, it is the definitive version of a superb game.

While The Last of Us was one of the PS3’s most impressive, engrossing releases, The Last of Us: Remastered feels like the version of Naughty Dog’s post-apocalyptic story of survival that the developer always intended us to play. Its story and characters are just as strong as they were before, but they’re now reinforced by far more amazing visuals, consistent framerate, and a nice selection of new bonus features and DLC inclusions.

This game has an overall amazing story, with an great cast of voice actors that know how to emote properly to draw you into the story… despite Ellie banging her drums wherever she walks (heh). Weather you have watched someone play this game before on the old PS3 version or not I recommend getting this upgrade to try for yourself to gain a personal experience. Bonus, the DLC is included in the price.

The Last of us Remastered is the best way to play the game. It has the graphics down pat (and i'm not even a graphics person). The game has a perfect, tragic story that will keep you interested and possibly give you depression. And that's good! The story is truly immersive and makes you care about the characters. And the Remastered version comes with Ellie's side story. Amazing DLC packed with the game.

I am only about 10% of the way in, but so far it had been an amazing game. I never got it for the PS3 which is possibly why I love it so much, the game is new to me. The graphics are probably the best so far for the PS4, and I own pretty much every game out so far, with the exception of a few. This is a absolute must buy if you havent played the game as of yet, and I would still buy it for the collection even if I had the game for PS3.

Too much cinema, also zombies aren’t scary. The tough zombies look like cauliflower is coming out of their head. There’s more fights with rebel groups and military, then zombies in which you need to “stealth” kill almost every time taking away gunfire battles. Also the teen girl that’s with you is annoying, she runs with you but provides no gun fire, just yells look out.game could be much, much better. Weapon crafting is average, story line is decent and what’s keeping us playing. But that’s about it.

One of my favorite story driven games of all time. I never got around to playing the original, but the remastered looks and runs great on PS4. The gameplay is challenging and intense, and is exactly what I wanted from a zombie survival game (good mix of vs. humans and zombies, tight resource management, good and bad human interactions, etc.). The game just improves on itself the further you get.

I am not over exaggerating when I say that this is the best game I've ever played. Everything was well thought through from the story to the gameplay even the soundtrack. The way the characters are portrayed makes you have an emotional connection to the game. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a great storyline game. Also the multiplayer is far better than most games out today. Please play this game.

This game is about as good as it gets with an excellent story that grabs you from the start and continues right to the end.
The graphics and sound are good as can be considering this is a remake from a PS3 game and it does not disappoint.
The gameplay and controls are superb which makes for an even more immersive experience.
If you're looking for a horror-survival game with heart and soul, this is it!

The Last of Us is not a game, at least for me, this is an experience that everyone that enjoy any kind media like books, movies, tv or videogames need to experience, either by first hand or by simply watching the game being played, it has an incredible story of how humanity reaches their darkest moments and also shows us the things we would do to keep the ones we love safe, a must buy for everyone.
Stunning to look at but still not game of the year

I had this on PS3 when it first came out. I played it, finished it and the traded it the day after. I bought the remastered edition because I thought I maybe was not in the right mind set when I played it and maybe now, being on PS4 and remastered visuals, I would like it better. This is a good game. The story is near perfect and Naughty Dog should be forever known as one of the best story telling studios around not only for this but for the Uncharted series as well. I still find the controls stiff but not as bad as the PS3 version and going from the Dualshock 3 to the 4 is a dream come true anyway.
If you haven't played this game, you should. Get it and experience what was voted the best game of the Playstation 3 life cycle. Not my personal favorite but it's still good. It will keep me busy until something else comes out.
