I'm drawn to survival stories and this is one of the best series I've ever watched. Doesn't hurt that the Captain is so easy on the eyes, either! Tex is actually my favorite character tho. The show is fantasy, yes, but it sure seems to carry itself off fairly well, factually. I watched it when it was on TV and then rewatched it all on On Demand before watching it yet again on DVD. It's that good!

One of the best new TV drama series in a long time!! "The Last Ship" has it all...lots of naval action and characters you can really care about led by a heroic ship's captain (Eric Dane) who is constantly faced with tough decisions. Can't wait for season 2 to start!!

This was the first season and it was awesome. It's the Navy and a scientist, against a virus that just about wiped out the whole world. Season 2 has started and it picks up right where season 1 left off. Very good series.

This is a 10 Episode show that runs over the Summer Break. The Last Ship has allot to thrill...lots of naval action and great characters you can get into. Led by a heroic ship's captain (Eric Dane-from Greys Anatomy).

Loved the show when it aired last summer and picked up the season to refresh my memory for the start of season 2, excellent show, definitely recommend.

Family started watching it together last year. Bought the series and sent it to son on Active Duty military - he loved it too.

This show is one of my favorites when dealing with the Navy. Uniforms, salutes, verbiage, they capture what it would be like to be in the Navy.

This item was purchased as a Birthday gift. The recipient enjoyed the shows as well as the "extras".

All kinds of awesome action and suspense. Will they get the cure, will they be stopped.

The acting isn't amazing, but decent and the action moves along quickly enough to maintain a suspenseful and relevant plot.
