Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The transfer was good, but not sure it looks much better then the Blu Ray version should look with my Panasonic 9000 upscaling and BD is a lot less money. I don’t own the Blu Ray version to know for sure, You can tell they did a nice job on the digital scenes over how my DVD looked. I am happy with the 4K version, just not sure I got an extra $29 improvement over BD I could have got for $5.99. To me it looks like an older BD version vs 4K for the most part, but I know they only have so much to work with due to age and original format. Does come with a booklet with 39 pages that was a nice addition.

Beloved and appreciated, this movie holds such a special place in so many people's heart. Even after so many years, It is still so much fun to watch. The 4k transfer is slightly crispier than the previous Arrow release and the grain seems to be managed much better. The audio at the 4.1 Theatrical setting is awesome. I recommend it.

If you have a similar connection to this movie or genre then this is a must own. The 4K scan, HDR, and enhanced audio is a great upgrade.

BUT The sound is not better. I played it on a 7.1 surround bar, then a 9.1 Bose Surround system. Picture amazing, sound still slightly muffled like the original
