This was a good action movie. The plot was weak but the action was almost non stop. My only complaint is that a lot of the action takes place in the dark with fire all around. This may set the mood but it makes following the action difficult. I am an action movie fan so I watch for the action more than the story. The story was not bad just a little predictable.

This was the type of movie I look for now a days! Don't get me wrong it was a really good movie with action and some twists but it was more of an original movie where it didn't seem like watching a hundred other movies that I have seen over the last 20 yrs! Was not Vin Diesels best movie ever but is really worth a look especially if u are a Diesels fan!

This is a fun witch hunter/detective ride. Diesel is solid while the story has its ups and downs the twist in the end was surprising. The 4K pq is really good! Deep blacks and stellar colors in both day and night scenes. Audio is also very well done.

Vin Diesel does a good job with the no thinking, sit back and relax, have a tub of popcorn movies. This is no exception. Don't go into this movie expecting to learn philosophies to change your life or the world. If you want a good entertaining night of action and special effects, this is a good one to go with.

I like Vin, but I never expect a AAA movie from the guy. He does Action and Sci-Fi B movies well, very well. This movie is exactly that, and it delivers. For Action/Sci-Fi people, this is a 5 star, but as that is not for everyone, it only gets 4. This reminded me of the original Blade movies...fun, lots of it.

I bought the steelbook version for a friend, so I have not watched the movie itself. However, it was delivered quickly and without damage. I only wish best buy would use some more sturdy boxes when delivering steelbooks and the cardboard mailers they currently use up the chances for possible damage.

I admit it, I am a Vin Diesel fan, so even in less than stellar movies, I find enjoyment. THE LAST WITCH HUNTER was not one of those types of movies. Great action, good story line, and enjoyable start to finish. My whole family loved it in the theater, and couldn't wait to get it when it came out on BluRay. If you like fantasy type movies with witches and magic, or you can appreciate an action movie, this can give you an evening of entertainment!

Thought it would be a movie worth watching, but got a pleasant surprise with entertaining and original fun. I wish Vin Diesel would do more parts like this because he is a good fit for the role. It may help that I enjoy a little fantasy and sci fi with my action films.

Everyone's favorite one word talking tree has further proven his box office weight. You might think you've seen this movie before in the likes of Blade, Underworld, Van Helsing and the like... and you wouldn't be wrong. However, seeing Marvel's Groot in the flesh somehow makes it all seem new.

Ok so the film I liked it and would watch it again. Its not great but not as bad as I had heard. Great picture and sound for the blu ray. In regards to the steelbook packaging this one looks so much better in person. If you can get your hands on one I would do so if your a collector.

Interesting storyline, with some good acting to support it. Looks great in 4k with the various special effects. Could support a sequel. I enjoyed this more with repeated viewings.

Is this movie going to blow you away? Probably not. Is this movie going to change how you perceive the meaning of life, love, and well, everything? Most likely, no. But the movie is entertaining, has some good special effects, frodo, and Michael Cane. What's not to like?

I was initially disinclined towards "The Last Witch Hunter". However, I really like it for several reasons. First is Vin Diesel. Second is Rose Leslie, last seen by me playing John Snow's warrior/love interest Ygritte in Game of Thrones. The story is not the usual and supports the expected Vin Diesel action/fun role. I hope "they" write a good story for my hoped for sequel! A pleasant surprise in the summer fun category.

The reviews I read and heard about this movie were all negative, and the thought of a Riddick-esque "Witch Hunter" was initially a turn-off. I picked this up on sale though and it turned out to be a pretty well-made movie. Good plot and really good acting by Vin Diesel and the cast.

I really liked this movie. Vin Diesel is great and I like the premise behind this story. They do a good job of not making this into a cheesy movie, because it could have easily gone wrong. Also, they are a couple of good unexpected twists that keep you gripped to the story.

Beautiful .... Action fantasy cinematography. This movie is the one you absolutely do not want to miss ... I would recommend a large high definition Blu-ray or 4K television because the cinematography and special facts are awesome. The bigger the television or projection screen you watch it on the better .This is one of the best Vin Diesel action films , it also has great actors like Michael Caine need I say more.
