Tim Roth plays a man whose entire life has been aboard a cruise ship, and has never set foot on land. He happens to be a naturally talented piano player who regularly entertains the ship's guests. The question in the story is whether he will, if given the opportunity, ever leave the ship and experience what it feels like on land. Tim Roth is a quirky as ever, wonderful role for him, wonderful movie and music.

This is an ah-mazing, heartfelt, funny, and yet also incredibly sad movie. Its one of my faves and I love it! Best buy also shipped it HELLA fast so I got to watch it sooner than anticipated.

Tim Roth’s performance is truly great, the music along with the filming makes it feel like you are there. The story line is intriguing.A must see..

Just fell in love with this movie. Wonderfully directed by G. Tornatore. Terrific actors, great music and an unusual and engaging plot.

Absolutely amazing movie. Captivating story about a man who has spent his entire life aboard a ship. Music throughout is exceptional. Piano duel is unbelievable. Timothy Roth gives a captivating performance.
