So Close, Yet So Far
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'll be the first to admit that 'the Legend of Bagger Vance' has every bit of what it takes to be a 5-star movie. The cast, the story, and the acting are all superb. The problem arises more in the direction and editing of the film in my opinion, as there are certain sequences that simply do not belong and/or could have been done much better. Still, not a bad movie, and fans will enjoy this widescreen special edition.
