this remaster is great video&audio quality.........

I am comparing this Miramax version to the well-known Thakral version for the fans. Miramax (blu-ray) version is uncut; Thakral version is uncut. Miramax (blu-ray) is in its original aspect ratio [2.35.1]; Thakral version is not [1:85]. Miramax's picture quality is out of this world; Thakral version is unremastered. Miramax version has no Cantonese soundtrack; Thakral has the original soundtrack in Cantonese. So in conclusion to the liner notes' re-edited theory, it's not. The bluray is unedited and it's the original theatrical version. Now as I look at this film, I have always wondered why Master Lau Kar-leung was so angry about the direction that Jackie wanted to take it. I believe that Master Lau Kar-leung wanted more traditional choreography and Jackie wanted more of his action-based sequences, more on the stunt side like he normally does. For me, it would of been good no matter what. But if I had a choice of who would take the lead, of course, it would be Master Lau Kar-leung. Knowing that Jackie was a major superstar, it's understood that Golden Harvest went with Jackie's ending. In conclusion, if you don't have this film in your media collection, you seriously need counseling. R.I.P. Master Lau Kar-leung. WE MISS YOU!

Looked for quite sometime to find a NON english dubbed version. This version has the original mandarin speaking with english subtitles. This was a great flick with some amazing fight scenes.

The fight scenes in this movie are considered among the greatest in the history of cinema. Finally, this movie is available uncut in its original language with English subtitles (the same ones it originally appeared with in theaters, and not a copy of the English dub track)! The audio and video quality are excellent! A must-own!

Jackie Chan movies still among the greatest movies to watch

Nice picture motion for an old movie. Very artistic Kunfu moves for young Jackie Chan.

If you're a Jackie Chan fan,this movie has the typical action you'll expect from one of his movies. However,here he moves faster than in his current films, which is nice to view.
