Trails of Coldsteal is a fun RPG with great cast of characters and a interesting story. The game play is simple enough to understand but a fair challenge can be found. This lionheart edition came with a really nice art book and a collectible pin to sweeten the pot. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a RPG to play.

This is a nice collector's edition with the pin and a nice artbook. The box that holds everything is also of good quality, great buy!

Got the Lion Heart Edition to prepare for the upcoming sequel. Great game and story. A must have for any fan of JRPGs.

I have not personally had the chance to play this, but I have played Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel, which is an excellent JRPG. I will try to update this review once I have played it, but my expectations are high, and everyone seems to be loving it!

If you've played the previous games then you already know you're in for a treat! Even for newcomers its very friendly, one of the best RPG's that has came out lately on last gen.

If you like RPG's then buy this game. Great music and battle system

This game is phenomenal. I have put 15+ hours into it so far and it reminds me of the days of final fantasy VII, DQ8, etc. there have been a few times where regular mobs appear to be overly difficult while the next set is easy and there are characters to love and to hate. Still, i would solidly recommend this game!

This is a great collectors edition for the money. You get the game, a pin and an awesome art book. Plus the game is not half bad either. If you're a fan of the psp games this is a must buy

A great game with interesting characters and story, you'll need at least two playthroughs to learn everything about the characters since you have to choose which ones you spend your time with. That and trophy completion are the only reasons to replay this game as its a literal breeze on nightmare setting using new game plus, it's about as challenging as solitaire. That alone keeps this game from a higher rating.

was lucky to get the last steel book edition at my local BB. If you can find this at your local store pick it up while you can. Think this is a limited run game..

Nothing personnel Estelle But Alisa is best girl. Had a blast playing through this game, awesome soundtrack and edgy Rean were my favorite parts. I wish I could marry Alisa ;_;

The Legend of Heroes "Trails" series of games is one of the best on the market, and Cold Steel more than lives up to expectations. If you're in need of a very high-quality RPG to play, be sure to check out Cold Steel, as well as its direct sequel.

This is one of the est JRPGs that I have played in a while. Although the graphics are dated, the engaging gameplay and interesting story more than make up for it. The game does take a bit to take off, but once it picks up, it is quite enjoyable.

As a fan of JRPGs, this is a beautiful game with quite a few nice extras in the Collector's Edition. Looking forward to the sequel!

Comes with a really nice artbook, a very solid feeling box, and a neat little pin for only $10 extra! Especially if you're a GCU member, this is a no brainer if you're interested in the game!

I haven't gotten around to this game yet since my friend told me this hints a lot at Estelle from Trails in The Sky, and i have not yet finished Second chapter, but i just HAD to buy this and support Xseed, and the creators of this game. The special edition is gorgeous, the box is sturdy, and shiney. It comes with a lovely pin badge of the Erebonian empire, a pretty thick booklet with art ( i couldn't see the last half of this book because there is information on Estelle, so avoid it if you haven't finished Trails in the Sky!) and enough room to store part 2 of Cold Steel when it supposedly releases later this year (2016).

I love JRPGs as they are my favorite genre. Tales of, and FF are two of my most favorite series. Now I can include The Legend of Heroes. Playing the previous version on PSP remastered was a great game. TOSC is no different. It's a variant of JRPG and Social Links (much like Persona 4), so you'll have lots of conversations that break up the battle, exp, rinse and repeat. The game is not that difficult and includes a save anywhere feature which I love in jrpgs as I can pick up and play and not worry about reaching save points. Graphically is great on the PS3 version. I heard of slowdowns on the Vita, but there are absolutely none (that ive come across 20hrs in) on the ps3. I extremely highly recommend this game to any fan of JRPG and LOH series. Great addition and I can not wait for the sequel to be announced. NOTE, buying the limited Lionheart Edition comes with the case inclosure which supports and holds this game plus it's sequel.

Again if your into JRPG then look no further. The only gripe I have is that it doesn't have dual audio.
