If you enjoyed avatar the last airbender then you will enjoy Korra. Yes it has more of an adult vibe to it, but everything set up in the airbender universe is still here. Great story, history, action, and drama. The show always kept me wanting to watch the next episode. After recently finishing airbender series, I was down that it was over. But Korra immersed me back into the awesome world of the avatar for a new experience. Blu ray had a cheap price, looks stunning. Extras are lacking, but honestly didn't bother me.

The Legend of Korra - Book One: Air is the brilliant continuation of the world developed in the series Avatar: The Last Airbender. Although it never quite fully realizes the greatness of Avatar: The Last Airbender it changes the game and should develop into greatness in the coming seasons. The transfer to Blu-Ray is fantastic (not perfect but pretty darn close) and will hopefully sales will be well enough for Nickelodeon to consider releasing it's back catalog on Blu-Ray.

Great story arc that introduces new characters and relatives of the old to connect the dots. Keeps you captivated from episode one and anxious to see what happens next. I agree with other reviewers that the ending was somewhat rushed, but considering the circumstances whereas they did not know if the series was going to continue, I thought it was done well. Looking forward to the next 3 books... or so I heard.

Hard to compare to the first Avatar but this one seems to start out with a older viewers in mind. Everything is still family friendly without it being a issue. Even if you didn't watch the first one or see all of it you'd still be about to pick this up an enjoy. You should really check this out!

Fans Of Avatar: The Last Airbender will love this. I watched this on TV and I couldn't wait for it to come out on blu ray. The extras are cool if you are into the behind the scenes stuff and obviously the season is fantastic.

I could write pages on how amazing this show is. Worth owning for any age group. Also check out the previous saga, Avatar: the Last Airbender! You will not regret this show!

Great sequel to Avatar: The Last Airbender. The writing and plots were good (well, adding Iroh was a little forced), nice animation. The new animals were a nice touch.

This is a breathtaking addition to Avatar mythos and the drama is so well created, that it is genuinely moving for adults. Can't reccomend this enough.
