Legend of Korra Book Two: Spirits was an excellent followup to Book One: Air. While the overall plot was not as strong in Spirits as it was in Air, the expansion of the mythology of the Avatar world more than made up for any weakness in the plot. Some of the highlights of this season include the introduction of Varrick, Desna and Eska, and Bolin's story throughout. The humor of this season is phenomenal, and this season establishes that Bolin is so much more entertaining than his brother, Mako. One of the weak points of this season was the relationship issues between Korra and Mako. While the whole will they or wont they stuff somewhat worked in the first season, their relationship in the second season simply was distracting and unnecessary given the stakes involved with the overall plot. All in all, Book Two: Spirits is a great continuation of the Legend of Korra.

(Note that there may be SPOILERS about general character development but not specific events in the series). I love this show and I love Avatar: The Last Airbender. I was happy to see the changes that this show made to give it a fresh look to the Avatar universe. This season, however, does have a few problems that seem to go against the usual standard for this show. Korra spends season 1 learning that she does not know everything and that she needs to control her temper and by the end of season 1 she became more humble and learned how to better control her anger. Season 2 it seems like they threw all of that character development out the window and she is exactly as she was during the first season. The plot is a bit spotty at times but I still enjoyed it and even with these problems this show is still much better than most of the stuff we see kids watching today. I highly recommend this show (and this season) to any who have even the slightest interest.

If you like animated movies but are tired of re-watching the ones you already own and would like to try something different but not sure about checking out anime then I would recommend this. Like the best animated movies this series can be enjoyed by both young and old alike. And if you have already seen the series when it originally aired it comes with a lot of great special features.

I was hesitant to watch this series, not expecting it to be nearly as good as the original Avatar. I now believe it's just as good as the original while maintaining its own originality. It's a great story for anyone from 7 to 120 years old.

It was hard to follow up Avatar: The Last Airbender, but the creators are doing a pretty good job with Korra. This second season is not on par with the first, but is still more enjoyable than a lot of animated shows out there today. Serious when it needs to be, but funny enough for a good laugh.

Korra's journey continues in Book 2:Spirits! There are 14 episodes of great animation & storytelling, interesting characters, and plenty of action, comedy and some romance. Find out how the Avatar came to be, and see Korra learn more about her abilities! :)

When i first heard about a new avatar series with a female role i was only worried they wouldn't make her a strong character. Well after watching book one and book two i am happy to say Korra is just as good as the previous incarnation.

This is one of the cartoons i enjoy alot, like the first avatar better but this is not far off. Can watch it with kids but also has entertainment for adults as it can teach you alot and is not dull in regards to the story of cartoon.

These stories were very entertaining and engrossing. Recommended for like 13ish and ups. Stories are more "teenage" than kiddie like the original Airbender series. A little more serious and "Love Triangles." But Fun none-the-less.

For those who enjoyed Avatar: The Last Airbender, this show is a no-brainer. For those who want an action-packed show that can be enjoyed by older children and adults alike, look no further. Start with Book 1, however :)

Legend of Korra is one of the greatest animated series ever… even for people who wouldn't normally watch animated shows. Characters, story, animation… everything excels. And season two shows us what "epic" really means!

This is one of the best cartoons that is left on television, it reminds me of the ones i used to watch as a kid. The plot of the show is amazing and keeps you hooked and wanting to watch episode after episode.

For those who loved the Story of Aang, this sequel is great. I must say that I would give Aang 6 stars. But Korra's adventures are fun and very entertained. My two girls (9 and 10) loved it very much.

A lot of people didn't like season 2 and didn't like UnaVaatu however I did! I thought Korra's grow as a great avatar really started during this season. I also loved the avatar Wan backstory.

The last air bender was an amazing series but Korra is much better having the same elements of the last air bender in a more mature way. The animation is so amazing! Can't wait for the third season!

Korra keeps getting better in the second season. Much like the first season, I found the romance bits to be a bit lacking, but thankfully they're not focused on as much this time. The animation is just incredible, probably the best you'll see on tv for a long time, and the story and characters are still interesting, funny, and endearing.

Although, the second season story line is not as strong as the first season, it still is worth watching. It is a bit slow at the start as many of Kora's relationships become strained but picks up toward the end. There is so much concentration on Kora learning how to connect with the spirit world which was overkill at times.

I always loved the Avatar! I just can't believe that Aang is dead. Never the less, they did a great job in Korra. Highly recommend this cartoon. Action, adventure, and comedy.

ATLA and ATLOK are great for everyone in the family not just the kids. Great story, fun characters, and good development. The entire show is highly recommended to everyone.

I was kind of on the defensive about the new Avatar but I'm glad I gave it a shot. This new adventure is one of a kind and everybody will love it. I know my kids and I do.
