If you’re new to the Legend of Heroes games, Nayuta is a separate story with new characters, so there’s no need to play the other Trails games. The game itself a clean port of a an old psp action game that still holds kind of well in 2023 .

The Legend of Nayuta is just pure fun, and it proves that we don't need big budget games to enjoy playing video games.

As usual with Falcom, the OST is impeccable. The game doesn't overstay its welcome or get overly wordy either.

Fun to play but a lighter story and stage driven design. Recommended but don't expect it to be like other trails games. This was different but good.
