This game is exactly what you expect from the Zelda title. Slashing at enemies with your blade, blocking the attacks of foes with your shield, losing fractions of your heart when you fail to avoid a baddies melee. They have added some new elements to the game to keep it fun and somewhat fresh. Great gameplay with a solid story. Win, win.

Honestly one of the best games I have ever played - hands down. Literally played all the way through from start to finish three times, discovering new parts every time. My only complaint would be that it ends. I'd love to keep going. Where's the sequel (as opposed the Hyrule Warriors prequel). Do it for you! Play this game.

Alas, my love for this woman has gone and tied me up in another adventure. One whos perils and trials are sure to push me to my very limits. I will not give up though, I will press onward and upward to save my love! *blink blink* What just happened? I feel like my body was taken over by some unnatural force. WOW! What a Great Game!

The gameplay is pretty interesting with lots of different side quests and adventures you can do. In the past, I needed a players manual to figure out the game and this one is not really different. There is a lot of options on how to hunt, cook, and do other activities, but you have to discover them. The puzzles are pretty good, but sometimes a hint goes a long way. Overall, I like the game and the story line.

I don't even know how to write a review for a game such as this. One must PLAY Breath of the Wild to understand how vast and open the world of Hyrule truly is. This is the Zelda game of all Zelda games. Just like in life, there's no linear way to play this game. Let the game take you where it wants you to go, and enjoy the gameplay... :)

After being disappointed in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, I had tempered expectations for Breath of the Wild. However, any reservations were completely gone after leaving the plateau section very early into the game. The sense of discovery, beauty, and wonder surpass anything that I have experienced in gaming in a very long time. This is truly a can't miss experience for any gamer who values master class game design.

Defiantly the first game of choice when buying the switch. Excellent gameplay and story.

it started off slow, and I wasn't too blow away or impressed an hour in. But then the game turns into the most vast and open-to-creativity game I have ever experienced. It's like the witcher and skyrim double teamed miyamoto and his after birth was this game. but too bad the hardware is still trash and i cant play the game for more than 45 minutes without having to bust out some bengay. still 10/10

I am not one to play these types of games and it has been years since I had a console. My last one was the very first version of the Nintendo DS. I kept hearing about this game and I had to try it out; the best decision ever! It is so beautiful and there is so much to do. When you think you've covered it all you find a billion other things to explore.

I was definitely surprised with this game. It is very well made and I have not encountered any glitches in my 60 hours of playtime. The world feels very alive and well put together. The game is also very long depending on how you play. If you like to explore as I do then it will take you at least 60 hours to beat the main quest line. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase and I easily got my money's worth out of it.

Very seldom will someone hear that from me, that a game that is so vast and plentiful with missions or side missions that I can honestly say that game is perfect. That is the case with Breath of the Wild - the story pulls you in and everything in the game has a purpose. The interactivity of everything you see makes the game shine and stand out like nothing you have ever seen before. A must-have and reason to buy a Switch.

Not only is this a great Zelda game it's an incredible reinvention of the open world. You can literally go anywhere, anywhere you see and traverse a vast open world quickly and easily. It's an inventive new spin on the Zelda formula that ditches long dungeons for smaller puzzle experiences. It feels like discovering a classic all over again and reminds me of playing the original Zelda on NES for the first time.

This game is great, I had bought the Nintendo for my son as most of the games are geared towards younger audiences. I got this game on a whim because I liked Zelda games back in the day. It is so good I'm considering buying another Switch so my son and I stop fighting over the Switch.

This game throws everything you know about Zelda and flips it on it's head, and that is a great thing. It looks amazing, its controls are more seamless and organic than ever before, and the world... Just looking at the map can be intimidating once you realize that everything you see is accessible, all you have to do it figure out how.

I bought this game as a gift for my wife for her birthday as she LOVES Nintendo and LOVES Zelda. She has been wanting to play this game for a long time. Once she started, it was hard to get her to put it down. I've played it myself as well, and I love the story so far and the gameplay is pretty easy to get used to. We are still pretty early into our games, but love it so far. Haven't had any issues to speak of.

I generally do not play single player games, as I have a competitive mindset. If I can't beat you in it, I don't want to play it. Given this, the last Zelda I have played for more than 10 minutes worth was A Link to the Past. Breath of the Wild is a beautiful game, with huge open worlds to explore. I am slowly playing it due to time constraints in my personal life, but this is currently the must-have game for the Switch.

There's a break away here from the usual linear Zelda model. The world is enormous and quiet - and not in a bad way. If you're okay with wandering around and exploring the environment in a really cleverly laid out game, there's always something new to find. This is one of the main strengths. My only minor quibble is that while there are a number of enjoyable side quests, I do wish the main storyline was a little longer.

Awesome game. Great graphics, great story. Well worth it
