I've been holding off getting this game because I mostly play Playstation and the price was always high, but this game was well worth it. The fully open world aspect mixed with the tedious puzzles and challenging mini boss fights kept me searching for unique solutions to problems and entertained me for days.

I've put in over 30 hours in this game and barley scrapped the surface. There is so much to do in this game. You can play for an hour and it feels like you just started.
If you have been suffering from open world fatigue like me give this game a try. It's open world, but you will enjoy every minute of it. This is coming from someone who hasn't really played a Zelda game since A Link to the Past on SNES.

Love, love, love this game. We bought the Game book and my husband and I spent hours and hours and hours playing this. It’s a little frustrating in the beginning because there aren’t many directions and you have to learn a lot on your own as you go, but there is so much to do and a really great story. Can’t recommend enough!

As a child I played all the zelda but Ocarina of Time literally changed my video game expectations. I bought a switch and Breath of the Wild in Hope's that at the age of 30, I could feel that way again....And I did....TIMES 10! This game is simply amazing. Brought me back to when I was 8 or 9.

I bought a Switch just so I could play Breath of the Wild, and the game is even better than I expected. I've replayed it multiple times over the past year and it hasn't lost an ounce of the magic each time. So few games have such great replayability, and BOTW has it in spades. I definitely recommend the DLC packs if you're a fan - they just extend the gameplay even more.

Bought this for my brother who is a huge Zelda fan. I recall when he played his first Zelda game for the N64; Ocarina of Time, and Majora's Mask. He has been booked every since. Haven't played yet, but all the reviews suggest that Breath of the Is the best Zelda and best switch game. Looking forward to this one.

The most innovating, immersive Zelda I've played since the first time I picked up Ocarina of Time on the N64.
Takes the very first NES Zelda game's essence and brings it into 3D.
Perfect for new and old fans alike.
Teaches through gameplay.
Worth every moment the game offers.
Plus the hero, Link, is super cute!

Great game. Great story. Great fun. Can we please get a sequel already?? 2023 cannot come soon enough. *this was actually purchased as a gift for a friend. I’ve played through multiple times now since first purchasing in 2020. Don’t sleep on it..

As one may already know, this game is fantastic! Once you get started the world of Zelda is your playground and battleground. Each play-through is different even if you play in the same order twice as there is so much to catch your eye.
The only thing that I hope that the Zelda team improves in the next game is the diversity of enemies. One should know that the enemy variants in the game are sort of lacking from the usual Zelda games. There are only a handful and they try to switch it up with strength classes and elemental variants but, all-in-all I more often thought to myself, "Haven't I already killed you before?" Whenever I had killed the same enemy for the 98493rd time in a row.
Other tan that the game is wonderful and I can't wait to see what the future installments will hold.

This game simply doesn't play like a typical launch title. That can probably be owed to the fact that it was co-developed for the now defunct Wii U. Still, as good as this is on the Wii U, the fact that it's every bit as good, but also completely portable, makes it the version to have (if you can get a Switch, of course).

Haven't beat the game, if i had to guess im not even half way through the story, and im already at 50 hours of gameplay. everything about the game BUT performance is really incredible. i typically dont care for zelda games, this is something different. just go into the game with as little information as possible, let the sense of adventure and mystery overcome you.
