As one may already know, this game is fantastic! Once you get started the world of Zelda is your playground and battleground. Each play-through is different even if you play in the same order twice as there is so much to catch your eye.
The only thing that I hope that the Zelda team improves in the next game is the diversity of enemies. One should know that the enemy variants in the game are sort of lacking from the usual Zelda games. There are only a handful and they try to switch it up with strength classes and elemental variants but, all-in-all I more often thought to myself, "Haven't I already killed you before?" Whenever I had killed the same enemy for the 98493rd time in a row.
Other tan that the game is wonderful and I can't wait to see what the future installments will hold.

This game simply doesn't play like a typical launch title. That can probably be owed to the fact that it was co-developed for the now defunct Wii U. Still, as good as this is on the Wii U, the fact that it's every bit as good, but also completely portable, makes it the version to have (if you can get a Switch, of course).

Haven't beat the game, if i had to guess im not even half way through the story, and im already at 50 hours of gameplay. everything about the game BUT performance is really incredible. i typically dont care for zelda games, this is something different. just go into the game with as little information as possible, let the sense of adventure and mystery overcome you.
I would recommend this to a friend

First Zelda game I have played since Ocarina of Time and Majoras Mask. I was worried it wouldn’t live up to how amazing those games were, but it ended up being awesome. So much to do. I have over 80 hours logged into the game and have not even finished half of what is available. I feel like I could easily play another 40 hours before starting over and doing it all again.

This game is one that really leaves me conflicted- perhaps I am at a biased disadvantage because I have minimal experience with Zelda titles prior to this. But as an avid gamer, I can speak from my experience with it on that front.
The game is absolutely beautiful- a true masterpiece visually and story-wise. I can only imagine how many heart-strings this pulls on for Zelda fanatics, but without that appeal and tie from me all I can see it for is the mechanics and visuals.
The game became very frustrating for me controls wise, with very little guidance or aid from the game itself it reminded me a LOT of Darksouls in the sense that you're probably gonna be reloading saves a LOT for the first quarter of the game. I'd recommend this game, but specifically for those with a history in the Zelda franchise and people older than 14 or so.

I'm not a big game but my husband loves it. This is a fun game for us to both engage in where he operates the controller and I help Mastermind the game with him. There's so much to do that if you take advantage of every task, there are hundreds of hours of playtime. We especially love the puzzles of the shrines! Can't wait for the next chapter to come out!!

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, albeit a very long game, is an amazing way to spend your time. Packed with quality so that it seems it is oozing it out of it's seems, it paints a story that has been told for generations. Still today (as of post more than two years after release) I'm surprised by hidden details and options in this game

This is a deviation from typically linear Zelda titles. You are rewarded around every turn for exploration. The music is subtle but swells depending on whats going on and you feel completely in control of whatever you want to do while being rewarded for poking around. If i were to summarize it I guess I would say Skyrim-lite mixed with the magic of Nintendo's touch. A must-own for the Switch!

This game is the reason I bought a switch, and I am not in the least bit disappointed. It is mysterious and rugged like the first one for classic NES, yet adds awesome things like crafting and climbing to the gameplay. Clean and pretty but not over the top graphics make it feel fun and immersive but not too grown up. Combat is smooth like always. Gameplay map is huge and varied. Will not disappoint.
