This game has been out for a while and reviewed to the ends of the earth but I can concur with everyone who came before me that this is an extraordinary adventure game. Nintendo has really knocked it out of the park with their games, and Zelda BotW is no different. Looking forward to the sequel!

"Amazing" is probably the best word to describe this game. The open-world exploration, the depth, the presentation (it's flat-out gorgeous) all come together for an engaging and unforgettable experience. Definitely a must-play for the Switch, regardless of whether you've been playing since the golden days of the 8-bit NES or if this is your first time visit to Hyrule!

I haven't owned a console since the Wii, but I've always loved Zelda games. So far this game is a blast! It's challenging but there are so many places to explore and so many options. If I get frustrated I can just go see what I can find or hunt or cook... I love it!

It was a long wait for Breath of the Wild to finally be released, but boy was it worth it. An enormous world to explore, the yearn to survive the ever changing weather, and a fun filled quest to find all 120 shrines. A must for any Zelda fan, or any video game aficionado. A true classic that only Nintendo could produce.

I am a life time Nintendo fan and gamer. I own all three consoles. I can say that this game by far is the reason why I enjoy gaming today. This games art design is similar to Wind Waker and Skyward Sword on the Wii/ Wii U. The open world feels similar to The Witcher 3 but it's more of a kid friendly version of it. There is a lot of content available for this game that will put you between 30-50 hours.

I was hesitant to pre-order the Switch to begin with and paid the price of having to search and search until I finally found one for this game. I was not disappointed. The open world (which is gorgeous) game play and story are top notch and the nostalgia is real. Certainly my favorite Zelda game since Link to the Past.

I am more than satisfied with this installment. This game feels like a true adventure game. Having to scavenge for all your supplies and taking them into a town to trade feels like a real journey. And sometimes you get so engrossed in finding a rare mushroom that you forget that you are supposed to be saving a princess or something...

Took me a few long hours to really get into the game at the start. Stick around the game for at least 8 hours before you decide to continue because believe me once you get sucked in ... you go in heavy. I’ve put 70+ hours into this and still not finished. Fantastic level design occupancied by an open world and great visuals.. what more could you want especially on the go.

What you see in the game is where you can go to. Unlike previous Zelda games, you can do more things such as cooking.
I would highly highly recommend this game!
If you have amiibos, they will help a lot, but you can still enjoy it without them.
You should also consider getting the expansion DLCs coming this winter.

Prior to tears of the kingdom this was the epitome of legend of zelda. By no means should this be over shadowed by the new release its still a worthy contender for game of the century.

Awesome game. First open world I've played that doesn't feel empty. Always something to find or explore. And if it ever does feel a little empty, the expansive environment makes up for it.

I love this game. It is my first true over world exploration game. I loved exploring and got the dlc to add to the longevity of the game. Some shrines I hated like the putt-putt one or ball launching ones. But overall I really enjoyed the game and I haven't finished it yet because I don't want it to end quite yet.
