This game earns its legendary status. I will admit, open world games often lose my interest. And this one did threaten to a couple of times, but the game is just so good. Extremely well designed, and just a blast to play. Get it.

There is so much to enjoy in this game. There are a handful of UI choices that can make the game's systems frustrating to use, but Nintendo has created an open world experience that is currently unrivaled in games. Let's hope Nintendo builds on this formal for Link's next adventure, and other companies start emulating the best of what Breath of the Wild has to offer.

This is the best launch title for the Switch and if you're not sold on the Switch, get the Switch and Zelda. This game is beautiful, breathtaking and the soundtrack is amazing. I love playing this with nice headphones; the experience is truly immersive and fun! It's fun to explore the new open-world and everything feels fresh to the Zelda series. It's a wonderful game.

I'm 39, and picked up an original NES after becoming entranced by Metroid and The Legend of Zelda. I have played every main Zelda entry since the original, and I am a huge fan of the series. Breath of the Wild is not just another great entry, it's an amazing game by itself and a complete and exciting reinvention of the series. Don't miss this game.

I purchase a lot of RPGs but often times I find my self eventually getting bored or distracted, and I usually resort to something that is more mindless. But I have not been able to stop playing this game. The fact that not everything is premarked on your map and the sense of scale really draw you in.

Honestly just the amount of side quests alone in this game is massive. I' typically not a big fan of open world games, but this Zelda is way too much fun. That's probably the best thing about this game, it is a ton of fun and what more could you want from a game? Helpful hint though, try getting as much food as you can so you cook up a variety of dishes for stat boosts.

Bought the game when it first came out, played the game for hours on end and got tired of it because of the saturation of games the switch has coming out. I traded the game in and bought something else thinking I was done with the game. Months later I wanted to play the game again and it still holds up. This along with MARIO is among my favorite switch game.

I've heard about reviews for this game but didn't actually read any myself to try to limit the amount of spoilers I would see. A lot of people are calling this the best Legend of Zelda game so far. I would have to say that in the short amount of time I've played this I would have to agree. I bought this for my son but, may end up playing it most of the time if he'll let me!

This game reminds me of Ocarina of Time. It has an expansive map and lots of new controls. The gameplay feels familiar but challenges you to learn to play a new way with the inventory/menu changes. It does take a little time to learn the new controls, but once you learn them it is easier to enjoy the game. The last Zelda I played before this was Wind Waker.

I waited a few years to finally pick up a Switch and Breath of the Wild but I could not be happier! This game is everything you could hope for in an open-world Zelda experience! 10/10
