Beautiful open world game. Loads of things to do. Never a dull moment.

From the feeling of the very first Legend of Zelda on NES of just explorer to grow in strength, this game brings it to the modern era. You start out able to run right up to the boss. (which will quickly wipe you out) You have to learn how to traverse the environment and use it to your advantage. This is best Zelda game yet and one of the greatest games of all time.

So I'm not really the play everyday type of gamer, I have a PS4 and now a Switch. The last time I felt so excited to play a game was probably Mario 64.. yeah I'm old. All I can really say is this game allows you to do most things you can think of doing... and I think that's awesome. I'm still a little weak at battling but I think the game is perfectly challenging.

This game is fantastic! All the reviews are very valid about this game. My only regret is buying from best buy. The game was advertised on sale but did not mention a sale period. I asked online chat support when the sale ended, and they said I had a week (until the following Saturday). The next day the game was back to full price and the sale had ended. I had this along with 3 other games in my cart which all were back to full price. Customer support could do nothing for me about honoring their own misstatement about the sale period. I got lucky that other competitors happen to have the previous sale price at the time I contacted BB about this problem so they price matched me. The other games were not on sale anywhere so they could not price match me or honor their own statement. I should have just purchased from the competitor and not given BB my business. I will not going forward because that is horrible practice to not honor your own statements.

I love this game from the moment I bought it, and anyone who played this series of the legend of Zelda games definitely will. This breath of the wild game is graphically stunning for a Nintendo switch console or handheld game. Buy this game if your interested in adventure and exploring!!!!

I've enjoyed every Zelda game I've played, Breath of the Wild was no different! The sounds and characters are pure Zelda. The controls are pretty tight. My one qualm with the game is the weapon durability mechanic. I'd like to have seen the weapons last a little longer. Not a deal breaker for me though.... if you own a Switch, then Zelda BotW is a must own.

Amazing game will never be a waste of time or money

Been playing Zelda since the gold cartridge on NES, been meaning to play Botw since it came out, finally will get to journey into Hyrule again. Looking forward to the adventure.

The salesperson at Best Buy said this was the game to buy for my new Nintendo Console, which is really just a very small tablet. He was right in that it is a fun game to play. But the resolution is very ten years ago at 1080 p. I've got a 4K HDR TV and it looks very pixilated. Still, I hate Sony so there's no going back. The game took some time as there is no difficulty level so I died several times just trying to get across the plain for the first time. In fact, I've died many times. I'm still on the upper plateau and that will surly take me a while before I'm able to go to all four shrines.

Although the open world format may cause confusion about what to do or where to go, this is still one fun game with tons to do. Don't rush it. Take your time and enjoy the scenery. You will find lots of good stuff just walking around and exploring. Good first game for the Switch.

it’s amazing game !! Y’all should get it and play it.

I just bought a switch to get ready for the new Pokemon game and I wanted to play something in the meantime. Zelda games are always great and this is no exception. It is different from the others, as it's more open ended. If you've played Fallout, it's similar to that, as there's so many side quests. Definitely worth the time and money

And I don't use that phrase lightly too! The depth, the scenery (environment), the game play, the music, just about everything about this game screams high quality & what you're experiencing is surreal. It's different than a typical Zelda game but you still know you're playing a Zelda game if that makes sense. I prefer using a Pro controller over the joy cons.

This game just blew my mind. I hvae been a long time Zelda fan and this one just blows everything out of the water. This game is a mix of everything Zelda has ever been. Best game ever. Huge open world, great monsters, great story, and a great new game to the series. It is 100% redesigned. Trust me. This is a must have. For new players and veteran players alike.

Fantastic all around. Astounding gameplay and story

This game is awesome! So many different armors, weapons, potions, foods, hints and characters it's mind boggling. Some story line, but mostly free form game play. You don't have to beat mini bosses or conquer an area before moving forward in the game, for example. So much to do and discover, this will be the first Zelda game I'm buying a game guide for. Love it!

I bought this game as a gift and my fiancé will play it for hours. Tons of fun and very versatile in that the game can be taken from our living room into the car. He has not stopped playing it except for periods of eating, sleeping and studying. Great game, very beautiful scenes, and the cooking is probably my favorite part to watch.

I absolutely love this game! There's so much to do and the world is massive. I've had it for about a month now and I'm still discovering new areas. I wasn't a big fan of Skyward Sword, and Breath of the Wild has brought back everything I love about the past Zelda games and more!
