It's been reviewing pretty consistently at perfect-near perfect scores and this one won't be much different. The game is incredibly well-done and the massive world to explore is so fun it turns hours to minutes. Even if you haven't played previous Zelda titles this is an awesome game to get started on! If you have a switch you already know it's a must have!

Great game , great grafics , great story, a must have.

Breath of the Wild is the best game I've played in a very long time. I'm an avid gamer and this is the first game, in a very long time, that feels complete. It isn't relying on DLC or addons, because it's complete. It transports its adult audience back to 1998, sitting around a 19" tv playing Ocarina of Time. This game is the perfect game for young and old.

Play this on pro mode. This feels a lot like the NES Zelda game in that there's no hand holding. The game starts you off and says "explore." There's not annoying companion character going "listen!" every 10 seconds. Don't use strategy guides. Experience it organically. Not sure how I feel about the DLC/season pass. But the base game so far is fantastic.

This is one of the best games I've ever played. I've gotten back into console gaming after about 14+ years of being off. This is a great way to get bavk into it and try the upgraded way of gaming. I have a little play time within the years so I wasn't completely clueless but still this thing gets you right back into it! Love it!

Lots of new things for the Zelda series. Some fans of the old 3D Zelda games might not like the changes, but you owe it to yourself to give the new open world style a chance. Especially if you enjoy other open world games.

If you are a Zelda fan, you will enjoy this latest game in the series. Its includes some survival mechanics and is more exploration based than in the past, but it is an adventure that you wont want to miss. It hits all the right notes for a modern game in the franchise. If you own a Switch you should own the latest Zelda game.

My son loves this game. Lots to explore and you are not stuck to a very tight storyline. Tons of side quests. While I am always cautious of games for him, this one is not about shooting people. Its about exploring and utilizing different tactics to overcome a hurdle. From time to time I will play the game as well. Highly recommend it.

Great open world, multi-weapon adventure. Wish that buttons were re-assignable to standardize with other setups for first-person fighters, and that the cooking system would have a feature to remember recipes-I find I have to go online and look them up whenever my meals and elixirs get low...but a really fun game.

My husband and I have now played through this twice, once on the Wii U, and again now on the Switch. It is a wonderful game. It's not the same as other Zelda games, so you can't expect it to be or you'll be disappointed. If you're a completionist and love big open worlds where you can do whatever, you'll love this game. We highly recommend it.

Awesome graphics, story line, and player interaction.

I tried, and tried, and tried ... I've put in a few hours, and I've gotten basically nowhere. And I don't really feel like moving on at this point. This is a huge, HUGE game. I've explored maybe 10%. The graphics are excellent, the soundtrack is great if a bit minimalist. It's big, it's WIDE open, and it's super-involved. Weapons break on you. Stocks of ammunition (i.e. arrows) run out. If you want to eat, you need to collect and then cook your food. If you want to cook your food you need to find yourself some fire. I just don't get the hype.

This game is worth playing even if you are not a fan of the series

This is the best game of all time and if you don't buy it for your Switch then you might as well not even play games. You will spend over 100 hours playing this game. Buy it for your kids if they don't have it already. Fun for all ages.

What a great game to play with the Nintendo Switch. Very well developed with an excellent story and great controls. Works very well in dock or portable mode. The game drains battery life pretty quickly but you can still get about 3.5 hours of gameplay before having to plug it in, which isn't too bad considering it was made for the WiiU originally.

I'm a huge LoZ, have been for the past 25 years. All my nintendo consoles were Zelda machines, getting the Switch for BotW was no exception. If you consider yourself a fan of the series, this is a must buy. Even if you've never played a LoZ game, you won't regret getting this game.
