The graphics may not be that of some 4k hyper-realistic games, but a good game isn't defined by how it looks, but by how it FEELS. And this game FEELS amazing. No ultra-realistic graphics, but definitely some of the best physics of almost any game. The world is vast, it is enjoyable to explore and admire. This game is well worth your time, and seeing as how I put at least 200 hours without finding all the shrines, this game is definitely worth the price.

Hands down the best Zelda game ever! That's really saying something considering the pedigree of the series. Best open world game I've played since Skyrim.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the best Zelda game ever created. The vastness of the world is far greater than anything that has been seen before. The game rewards the player for continual exploration-- there are shrines scattered all over the world and when you complete four of them you can cash in a reward of either a heart container or a stamina vessel. Hundreds of different weapons and armor exist in the world that keep the player occupied for hours. I've never been so enthralled with another Zelda title. I would 100% recommend this game to anyone!

Excellent Zelda game play, wish my weapons didn't break so much in the beginning, but it makes you THINK when you play, and that is a good thing!

Challenging puzzles and a cool cell shaded world brings you back to the old days of Nintendo but with all the bells and whistles of new age games.

No release has benn this impactful to the Zelda series since Ocarina of Time. Much like that this changes the series while still keeping core values, such as exploration, puzzle based boss battles. All while adding a great narrative that while not out of the ordinary is the best the series has had, including full voice acting. The world you explore is larger then many open world games before it and nothing is out of reach with the proper skills and tools. You can go anywhere at anytime but weather you'll survive is always the key. Either on Switch or Wii U you must play this game

Great Graphics, interesting engaging story line. My husband and 13 year old love it! Just the right level of difficulty, Not too easy, not too hard.

'm a huge fan of open-world games. I loved Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor, I loved Metal Gear V: The Phantom Pain and I loved The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The durability system kinda sucks, but it didn't ruin the game for me. Having your weapon break after just a few enemies (or a single guardian if your weapon is weak and not durable enough) is no fun and they really should have come up with a better system to get people to swap through weapons; however, the game provides you with a plentiful source of weaponry and it's easy to stock up.

Does this site need another Zelda review? No. But I'm writing one anyway, and not just because Best Buy gives me a few reward points. This game is genuinely special, both on its own and in conjunction with the hardware it is designed to be played on. Do not hesitate to make the investment for Zelda - the Switch may be lacking in software for now, but the potential is clearly there and the sales are high enough that the software will come in time. Meanwhile, you will be enjoying a unique classic that honors the Zelda franchise while building on it in new and clever ways.

I started playing though Zelda in December and just beat Ganon in April. Its astounding the quality of this world and how well developed every layer is. I took the time to find all 120 shrines, the memories and defeat the beasts before attempting Ganon, which made for a great experience. Very glad I didn't start this until after finals - I plan on getting the expansion pack this summer and excited to play more while waiting for the sequel

Not your typical Zelda game .very big open world with not much hand holding . Much better then skyward sword and wind waker but not my favorite of all time .

The graphics are good as well as there being tons of stuff for you to run around and do. As well as you get abilities rather quickly!

In this latest Zelda game they do away with all of these conventions of a Zelda game and give you an open world to explore, get lost in and have a grand adventure. There's no more hand holding as you're put out in the world to defend yourself and save the land of Hyrule. The sense of discovery and growth as you progress through the world is unlike anything I've played. I cannot recommend this game more. It is absolutly essential for any Switch or Wii U owner.

Open world like no other Legend of Zelda game has been before. So much to explore and discover. Challenging and enjoyable. I highly recommend!

This is an AMAZING game. The world is massive, and entirely open. Tons of things to explore and try to find. This game alone makes buying a Switch worth it.

I'm only a few hours in but this game is awesome! The graphics are good and the gameplay is on point. Loving the story so far. A must play for any Zelda fan
