This is one of the greatest if not the greatest Zelda game ever made. So much to do in this huge world, you’ll get lost in it for hours!

Ever since the switch was revealed I knew I had to have it, and finally when I was able to buy it (despite being a year after it’s initial release) everyone recommended breath of the wild and said I had to buy it. I never played a Zelda game nor have I had interest but this one intrigued me so I gave it a shot. I’m glad I did as it has become my most played game on the switch. I have been sucked into the world of Zelda that I even purchased 3 amibos for it. Definitely a must buy if you have or intend to purchase a switch!

Great gameplay. I really feel as if I'm traveling a real world. It is a joy traveling this world since there is so many things to see. I actually like that weapons break as it forces us to use different weapons (In old zelda's I never changed my weapons). The music (which is nice) plays when it's appropriate to play. The game is long, and I think it's worth the money. I play in short moments during my day and it works for me (the shrines are short - perfect for on the go gameplay). The portability factor on the Switch makes this all even better!

Feels like the original in terms of wide open exploration. Fun connecting w my kids while they experience Zelda the way I did 20 years ago with mysticism

Fantastic game. Had it on the wii-u but never finished it do to the game getting broken. Decided to buy it again when I got the switch. Still just as good. If you're a fan of Zelda games, especially Ocarina, Majors Mask or Windwaker, then you'll enjoy this. The game also doesn't rely on knowing anything about the previous games so its a good game to jump into the series with if you've never played a Legend of Zelda game before.

The scope and size of the open world (and the game in general) is mind boggling. It truely feels like you're on an epic adventure. Breath of the Wild is different in many ways than previous Zelda entries but I welcome the changes. It's an incredible game you can get lost in for weeks or months at a time. The world is beautiful, the exploitation is never ending, the shrine/puzzles are fun brain teasers, the weapon/rune variety is satisfying to use in and out of combat. There's cooking, tons of side quests, plenty of things to see, find and do!

I've never played any of the Zelda games before this so I am obviously missing most of the back-lore but they created this game so that even a newb like me can just jump in and play. And I love it and the Switch console. I watched a bunch of online videos from streamers and other gamers and it looked like it was just a really fun game - and it has been so far. I'm early into it still in the first area but the game play mechanics are great, the puzzles are fun and the storyline is engaging. Looking forward to the adventure!

The more I play this game the more I fall in love with it. It's got all the hallmarks of a traditional Zelda title but mixed in with true open world aspects that blend together seamlessly. Additionally, this is one of the toughest Zelda games that I've ever played. From the beginning, enemies can kill you in one hit, which makes you develop a smarter and more pragmatic play style. I could rave about this game for hours but I won't do that here. Instead, you should pick it up and try it out for yourself! I can almost guarantee you'll love it.
