And if you get this version you get an amazing case and soundtrack. Seriously this game is incredible and at least get the Wii U version. Zelda is back.

While I'm aware of the Zelda games that have come out, I don't think I've truly played one since the original, or maybe the second one on the Super Nintendo - way back when. This has been an awesome game, and with 5 people in my family all playing their own game, it's dominated my TV for the past nearly two months! The versatility is amazing, as are the graphics (for a Nintendo console!) Getting the Special Edition for the nice bonuses (mainly the carry case) was a wise choice, I sold off the coin and cd for more than what I paid over the standard edition.

This game is awesome! I can't put it down. 75+ hours and I still haven't opened up the whole map let alone explore the whole world...and it's not boring. It constantly challenges me to find new ways of doing things and the controls are great the graphics are great and the experience is great...the story is mostly the same but I still haven't finished it because I keep getting side tracked and I love it lol any Zelda fan has to play this game...any open world fan has to play this game and anybody with a switch or a Wii U should already be playing this game.

Case is great, game is even better. The rest of the accessories will likely get lost or tossed aside, but the case and game made it worth it for me.

This is one of the best games EVER. Absolutely one of my favorite all time and I grew up in the 80s and 90s with video games. Believe all the hype and reviews as this game is amazing and well worth purchasing a switch. So much fun :)

This game is amazing and the special edition makes for a great collectible... Just wish I could have gotten the Master Edition. Dam you scalpers!!

The game itself is already incredible, but this package itself is even better! The case that it comes with is amazingly detail and very durable.

I have only played the first two LOZ games & a little bit of Ocarina of Time & have to say that this game is easy to jump into without having played every LOZ game to this day. The game itself looks GREAT on the Switch's screen & on the tv when docked. From what I have played so far, there is a lot to do & it does not get boring at all. I have not experienced any frame rate issues or any other issues so far. If you are a big LOZ fan, I do recommend buying the SE (or ME) if you can find one. $80 + tax (if you are a GCU member) is worth it.

Got it for the soundtrack. Absolutely beautiful. The extra things are nice; the coin, the map, the Switch case. And of course, best game ever.

Zelda has been so formulaic since the release of Ocarina of Time. Up until now, it seems as though Nintendo has been trying to recapture the feeling that Ocarina of Time gave players when it was released on N64. This game is the first real departure from the formula and it is, pardon the pun, a breath of fresh air. With an emphasis on exploration and the player's ability to control the story progression, Breath of the Wild becomes an immersive journey that exudes a level of quality and charm Nintendo fans have become accustomed to.

The Zelda franchise is one of the most outstanding first-party franchises, and for the game to start off on Nintendo's newest system is the best reason to get the Switch. Everything in the Special Edition has been thoughtfully crafted, from the coin to the soundtrack. Even the carrying case is better than a lot of the other cases sold out there. The game itself however, there's nothing that hasn't already been said. It's fast become a classic game, and everything that you can do within the game will leave you searching for more.

This game if by far the best game of the year, and this specific special edition realease is soo cool! Any fan would love what you pay for.

Quite possibly the best Zelda game I've played. The bonuses in the Special Edition are great; the Switch case alone justifies the purchase.

I purchased the Zelda BOTW Special Edition because I unfortunately missed out in the Master Edition when they became live. As a long time fan, I find this to be a decent special bundle coupled with one of the best games I played in the current year. The game it self is pretty great. Centered around exploration and making it your own adventure. Story is lacking a bit, but, it's not much of a problem once you get lost in your in-game surroundings. The music selection is decent though I wish there were more memorable scores.

Great open world game that assumes you have a brain. The collector's edition is nicely packaged and comes with cool stuff for a Zelda fan.

The carrying case is very useful, the map is well made, the music selection is sweet, and the coin is a nice bonus. Overall great value.

The Breath of the Wild Special Edition is one of my favorite collector's editions of 2017. It contains a game that is one of the best open world experiences I have ever had, a partial soundtrack CD, a collectible coin, an antique-looking map, and a Switch carrying case that is themed to look like Link's Sheikah Slate tablet in the game. The case is especially noteworthy, I own 6 different Switch cases, and from a functional design standpoint, the one that comes in this package is by far my favorite. Highly recommended!
