First off got the digital copy through best buy online. It was on sale for $40 and was a great deal. They sent code to my email and i was playing within a hour. Also even if you dont buy through the nintendo store you'll still recieve the reward points in the nintendo shop same as if purchased from them. As far as the actual games what can I say a legit 10/10. Marios hat was a nice touch that was much more then merely a gimmick. It added functionality to marios maneuvering in a semless manner. The game is huge and can be pretty challenging at times, although not to the level of mario sunshine in difficulty. They even added what felt like almost anouther playthough after beating bowser in the final battle. After finishing 100s more moons are added to the levels leaving many more hours of fun ahead. Needless to say this game kept me engaged for probably 60-100 hours. Couldn't recommend it more and purchasing digitally through best buy was great.

Brand new game was sealed when I got it. It's very fun and great for kids or adults and two people can even play. Spent hours playing it so far. I would say definitely buy if you have never tried it before.its an amazing game and very different than your typical Mario game but they explore different worlds that are super fun and want more games like that.

Take my review with a grain of salt, I'm a total Mario fanboy. This game took everything I loved about previous Mario, but somehow made it feel fresh and new. It was easy for my 5 year old daughter to jump in and start playing like a pro! Highly recommend if you have youngsters wanting to play video games like Mom and Dad.

Honestly one of the best Super Mario games TO DATE its so fun in exploration and the challenges given to the player. Mario’s new friend Cappy is adorable and i would love to see him more

I waited to purchase this game when it was on sale. It stands as one of my favorite Mario games ever.

Super Mario Odyssey on the Switch is pure fun from start to finish. With Mario’s new hat buddy, Cappy, you can possess enemies, solve puzzles, and explore gorgeous, creative worlds. The levels are packed with secrets, the music is amazing (Jump Up, Super Star! is a banger), and it’s just a joy to play. Whether you’re a Mario fan or not, this game is a must-have.

Best Mario game of all time, hands down. It is 3d with some 2d thrown in.

First off its Mario! How can you not love it! New and updated with that classic feel! It's fantastic, I've personally been hooked on it for days! There are so many things to do in the game, so many challenges that need to be met, amazing!

I absolutely LOVE this new addition to the Super Mario game franchise. I love the story line and love how there is so much more to do once the main story has been completed. My only complaint is that I feel like Luigi is considerably under used and hope that he'll be given a bigger role other than the whole "Balloon World" thing once there's additional downloadable content available for this game.

It came pretty quick. I got it during the cyber Monday sale and it’s pretty much worth it. This is like a story game mode and it’s pretty cool. The only downside is the lack of direction so you’re pretty much on your own. You have to figure everything out and it can be a bit confusing so I suggest walk throughs.

Mama Mia! This game is amazing. With impressive visuals and level design to the top-notch platforming and puzzles, this game is sure to be a contender for game of the year. It's still your classic Mario story, encased in a lovingly crafted experience that is pure joy distilled into playable form. I highly recommend for any Switch owner.

The zaniness of Mario 3 mixed with Mario 64’s mostly open worlds. Really fun game, a lot of collectibles in the form of power moons. Tons of replayability with hidden moons and things that unlock after beating levels. Amiibo compatibility gives costumes, coins and the general location of missing moons. Cappy adds quite a bit. all the moves you expect from Mario and some new ones like the spin attack. Highly recommended if you like Mario. PS it even has some limited couch co-op in the form of Cappy. This game is super fun to play, especially since it has so many challenges to complete to advance in the game! my kids love the game because of its challenges, adventures, and such curious characters! They can play together on a two-player game mode, play with their friends on amazing adventures with online multiplayer, and even play in VR! But the best part in my opinion is that this game can be played many times even after finishing every level since this game has some many more adventures within each level to explore!
