i played this a few days ago on my new 3ds xl.... the 3d has some slight ghosting in the dark areas but overall works wonderful...about the same as ocarina of time... the edition of the helper stones is great for when you get stuck on where to go next. the new cstick camera option is great...makes it very fresh and new to play again with this option. recommended for advanced players!

While it is not quite a port of the original N64 title, this 3DS version is about as close as you can get to the original. The addition of a few new mechanics (nothing changing the original gameplay, except maybe on the New 3DS) like save points and a quest tracking notebook are very welcome. Great fun to play. Great trip down memory lane for those of us who played the original.

Even though this game came out years ago on the Nintendo 64, I did not get the chance to play it then. Now, I get the chance to play the new and improved version AND take it with me! I just started playing it and although I prefer the top down Zelda games, this game and its story is outstanding. I can't wait to finish it and see what I have been missing all these years! :)

A very fun Zelda game for someone who had not played it on its initial release. Compared to the original, it seems the difficulty bar was set lower overall for certain aspects/areas of the game from what I've seen in reviews so I feel as though I still haven't experienced this game fully. However, it was still fun to play for the few days it took to finish the game 100%.

Great game that offers a lot of hours of gameplay and a great story to boot. This is the perfect way for people who have never played the original as it improves on some issues on the old version of the game.

I won't talk about the game itself here. This game is a 'remake' of the old one released several years ago for the Nintendo 64 (I think) so you will find plenty of reviews about this game around the web. The only thing I can add is that this game looks much, much better than the old version. It looks beautiful and the 3D looks awesome in the New Nintendo 3DS XL.

This game was great when it was originally released on the Nintendo 64 and comes to life in handheld form as a Nintendo 3DS game. The graphics, storyline, and gameplay have all been revamped in an amazing way, and this chilling game creates an immersive experience the likes of which is unattainable by other Legend of Zelda games that have been released to date.

Basically, this is the same game that was released years ago. That being said, it's still one great game! The game has been updated and optimized for the 3ds and looks absolutely amazing! If you've never played Majora's Mask, this is a fun, yet very different Zelda game. If you have played Major's Mask, it's definitely worth a re-visit on the 3ds. Great game!

I am a master 64 zelda fan. I have played all of the games but even I can spot significant differences in the gameplay. Do not get me wrong it is still great but it throws me off because I want to go through it one way and they've changed it so I have to figure it out all over again. Overall graphics are amazing and the storyline was always amazing anyways.

The new graphics along with this game being portable is a must buy

It is rare that the Zelda series doesn't churn out a great game. Majora's Mask is no exception. Often overlooked because of Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask is still a great game in every way. Now, you can play it on the go on the 3DS. You can't go wrong, even if you've already played Majora's Mask on the Nintendo 64 it's worth enjoying again on the 3DS.

The improvements on this remake make this game a great way to replay a classic Zelda game. The 3D is very well done, but perhaps the most important improvement is the added hint system. The original pretty much needed to be played with a guide in hand, but this version gives you just enough hints to keep the puzzles fun without being too frustrating.

i can remember playing the original on N64 and quite frankly, I couldn't stand it! Maybe it was too different from OOT for me to enjoy. However, now in my late 20s I can really see the value that this game brings. Very creative game and the changes they made to the 3ds only added flexibility to the gameplay, didn't change the overall experience.

Majora's Mask was a departure from the standard Zelda formula when it was originally released and was not well received as a result. It's funny to see the high praise it is getting now, but it is well deserved. The 3DS adaptation puts tools in your hands to make tracking all sorts of things much easier, and makes this version well worth your time.

Awesome just as expected. Great sequel. Enjoyed the game.

One of my favorite game of all time being remastered for the Nintendo 3ds and it's back better than ever, if you are a fan of the Legend of Zelda this game is a must buy, if you haven't played it and even if you played the original this remastered version it's worth the buy again with all it's new enhance graphics and all it's new feature.

The game has a lot of side quests. Has a great story line.

Graphics are improved. Great when 3D is on. Amazing game!
