One of the best Zelda games that the gamecube system had. This game is the same as the one for the gamecube, except with a couple of great upgrades. Some of them are the HD gameplay, the ability to use the gamepad to quickly switch items without pausing the game, play directly form the gamepad, play with the pro controller for a classic gameplay, and other slight changes to the games items and music. This is a great classic game that I really enjoyed playing on the Wii U.

Great art style and graphics, the colors really stand out in this HD version. The music is also one of a kind

The Gameplay for Wind Waker HD is just as I remember the GCN game, but it has some major and minor tweaks that you will enjoy. The Music gets a big update as well. I won't say how so as to not ruin it. If you hated the GCN Cel Shaded Graphics, You will love the HD Bloom Graphics better. The only downfall if there is one is that the game can be short unless you plan to do a 100% run. I still give it a 5 out of 5 tho. Also Yes I would highly recommend this game for your Wii U System.

When the legend of Zelda wind Waker was released on the GameCube players got to explore a vast ocean as link and immerse themselves in a world that never been seen before and is all the franchise. With the release of this version, players get to experience a even more vivid and spacious reimagining of the wind Waker game. I would highly recommend to anybody who owns the system purchase and play this game even if you've already played it before

Played this back on the GameCube and enjoyed it after I got over the graphics. The only problem I had with Wind Waker back on the GameCube was how ridiculously EASY it was. I literally had no challenge what-so-ever and was really disappointed in that. This HD remaster actually has a hard difficulty mode =D Honestly I think all Zelda games should have a difficulty option like Easy/Normal/Hard/Legend. Something! Really enjoy this =)

Video game is awesome; great graphics and good storyline. Reminds me of how fun the original game was

The original Wind Waker was a beautiful game- this remaster makes it even more beautiful. This is one of my favorite Zelda games and is a must have for any fan of the original, or anyone who owns a Wii U. The ocean is vast and has many things for you to explore- that alone gave me hours of entertainment. A very fun to play game that can appeal to anybody. Also one of the rare Wii U games that runs at 1080p

This game has amazing graphics and the story line is classic but with a modern twist.

The game graphics is different from other Zelda styes, It takes a while to get used to the cartoon style graphics. However once you get past that the gameplay and story is great. It really fullfilled my expectations

One of the best GameCube and Zelda games ever made, is now remastered in HD on the Wii U. The game looks absolutely incredible and the cell-shading looks better than ever. It is the game we all loved from the Nintendo GameCube days with updated graphics, controls and fun :). If you have kids this is a great introduction to one of Nintendo's greatest characters/games ever.

The HD version of Wind Maker is great! Plays very well and looks even better.

If you don't already know that this game is a masterpiece, then you've been living under a rock. The new cel-shaded design is absolutely gorgeous and lends itself perfectly to this game's character and personality. The gameplay is rock-solid, the soundtrack is good enough to listen to on it's own, the controls are perfect.....how can I praise this game any more?? Must-buy!!!

Love Zelda and this game is fun on the WII. Nice graphics and good story

This is the first time I've played Wind Waker, and it has proven to be quite a challenge for someone who hasn't touched a Zelda game since playing A Link to the Past when it originally came out for the SNES. The cell-shading is beautiful, but some of the puzzles are non-intuitive (ie slightly frustrating) but overall it is an excellent addition to the franchise.

Wind Waker was beautiful then on gamecube, different from the norm and going with some lush, gorgeous cell shaded graphics. It is even more eye popping now. The gamepad helps alleviate some of the inherent flaws that sailing provided in the original. But with many of these remakes, nothing much changes and that's okay. If it isn't broken don't fix it

This game was actually purchased as a gift. Personal research and discussion about it have told me that it's a really fun game. I love how beautiful it looks on Wii U and it reminds me of Spirit Tracks, but much better as it has a more open world feel. I would give it 5 stars and call it a worthy addition to the Zelda series.

This is what HD ports of older games should look like and was very fun to play through again after finishing the game once on the GameCube years ago. I actually had received this game already as a digital download with the purchase of my Wind-Waker Wii U but felt I had to get a physical copy as big as a Zelda fan that I am.

I bought this game for my 10 year old God son. He plays video games but had never played any Zelda games. He normally plays games like COD or GTA. I bought it for him because of the puzzles. He played it and really enjoyed it. The graphics are great. I think this will get him into the Zelda series.
