Fun to play and like different characters in movie

The Lego video games seem to keep getting better--my kids play them more than anything...!

I've played this with my six year old son and it's your typical Lego game. It's enjoyable, but it's the same thing, but different. The only other Lego game that I have personally played is the Star Wars collection and it's pretty much the same formula. My son does love playing out the 'scenes' from the movie.

This game is great because it follows the storyline of the movie! It adds a lot of action that fills in some of the gaps in the movie. The minikits in this game are actually LEGO instruction pages and when you find all of the pages for a build you can actually build it and drive it around! A couple things that frustrated me. One of the Western levels has a glitch that causes you to have to restart the level. Every time I played that level I had to go through it a second time to get past the glitch. The game is missing some of the characters from the movie that I would have liked to play as (the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and NBA All Stars). Finally, finding the levels in Free Play mode is a little difficult because they aren't ordered in any way. You have to go to each town to find the levels. Despite all of that, I really liked the game!!! The achievements are hilarious and I love that they blend in clips from the movie.

If you're a fan of the movie, then you will like this game. My kid loves it.

The LEGO Movie Videogame does, in every way, live up to the potential shown in the previous LEGO games. You have all the same silliness, the same kinds of puzzles, and so, so many things to unlock. So, basically, if you like the previous LEGO games, and want more of the same, this is for you

Great game for young children, i would recommend for children

It was a Christmas gift for my nephew. I was told it was a great game.

This is a very fun game to play for all ages. My kids are 8 and 6 and both of them love the game. I play it too sometimes with them and have lots of fun. Great overall game to play.

6 year old son loves everything Lego and this game is great. Challenging enough to be interesting for him, but not too difficult to be frustrating. Plays off the movie nicely and the voice acting is great. A perfect reward after he does his reading/chores/etc. :)
