    I saw the poster fro this movie as a kid in my local theatre and have wanted to watch it ever since. I was expecting too much so I wasn't terribly disappointed. More violent than would have thought for the time but effective. The good: Strong performances by the leads and the cinematography of the island location is gorgeous. The bad: plodding and disjointed with whole sequences appearing to be missing.

    I thought that this was a well made movie! The location was breathtaking! The story line was good not great. Wonderful entertainment. I say see it!
