This is one of my son's favorites. He has enjoyed watching it

My children had never seen the Lion Guard before but knew that something that had to do with the Lion King was something they wanted. The DVD was in great condition once I opened the sealed package and there were no scratches which made it easy to view. My kids watched who are 6 and 4 watched the entire disc the first day they got it and have watched it many more times since they day.

I picked up this movie for my son who is almost 2 after seeing how much he loved it after it aired on Disney Junior. He loves all of the characters and songs on this movie. It's short but that's a good thing, this way he's not sitting in front of the TV for more than an hour. It follows the events after the Lion King and mainly focuses on the son of Simba, Kion. A great purchase.

My daughter loves this DVD in the car. It tells the story of how they each become members of the new Lion's Guard. I'm not a fan of the hyenas as so mean, but for some reason my daughter thinks they are buffoons and laughs at their song. But, I do like the life lesson and how the good guys resolve their issues with being smart and working together.

I very rarely watch Disney shows based on their movies, however this one hit the mark. This movie to kick of the show is fantastic! I bought it to watch with the kids I babysit and I have continued to watch the show with them. It is cute and informative! Disney did a great job with this one!

My four year old loves the new Disney series The Lion Guard, so I viewed this as a must. In fact I like watching it with her. My only criticism is the length of the movie 50 mins at the cost of a full length movie. That being said, it gets constant plays in the wife's minivan and all in all was a good buy. But not if its for a single viewing.

My foster son love this movie. I had it save on DVR before it finally came out so I could buy it for him. He is now 3 years old and use to call it the Roar and Lion before he started calling it Lion Guard.

One of the best Disney Movies for kids. They love watching the Lion Guard and their friends!

This movie was able to tie the other previous movies together so you can understand what was going on in the previous movies. Only bad thing about this movie was it was too short!

This short film (long episode?) was nice because it explains how the new show is connected to the Lion King movie. Only downside was that the little toy inside was broken.

I love the Lion King and my nephew, but Lion King movies aren't the same as the ones I remember from being a kid. All and all, though, he loves it and it's one of his favorites. Great for him, not that great for me. haha.

The Lion King was truly a defining moment in Disney history. This initial story to the next chapter in the series introduces everyone to another set of great adventures!

This was a very cute movie. I wasn't sure what I was expecting when I bought it. It's not as great as he original lion king but it wasn't that bad either

My son watched this on TV one time and has been asking for it ever since. Glad it finally came out on DVD so I could get it for him. Really good movie too!

This movie is a great way for me to enjoy Simba and Nala with my kid since I am way to old to be watching it by myself! The movie is Un-Bunga-lievable!

The Lion King won the hearts of many. The sequels released after were very good…this story does a great job of continuing the legacy. Kids will love it!

My son loves this dvd. It is a great continuation to the story of what happened with Simba after The Lion King, with an interesting spin. The messages of friendship, loyalty, and family remain.

Daughter loves this movie! It's a shorter movie clocking in at about 45 minutes. Great to see prior to watching The Lion Guard show on Disney.

I really like all the movies when lion king first came out my dad bought it for me I really recommend this new movie lion king the lion guard.

This tells the story of how the lion guard was created and is very entertaining especially for anyone who enjoys the Lion King.
