This kids show is a comical yet often serious take on a Lion King II prequel (or "in-betweenquel). This DVD follows how the "bad guys" get access to Scar, the evil counterpart to Mufasa, through mystical means. During the whole process there are coming of age lessons through accomplishments and mistakes. The biggest lesson that multiple characters learn is be careful what you wish for...

Rise of Scar does not disappoint. Scar returns in a big way, and everyone in the Pridelands will know about it, It's easy to think of it as an unofficial fourth movie. The four episodes that follow don't have Scar, but I love them anyway! "Baboons!" is easily one of my favorites.

This fills the gap of the original lion King from the early days and answers some questions . Good family type of movie for the young and young at heart

My four year old watched it, it was like there were monkeys in it and there were bad people in it. It wasn’t good. My six year old says, it was good because the hyenas were funny. Just one. Only one hyena, the rest are serious. Also, comes with a code for electronic on iTunes/etc.

One of the best Disney Movies for kids. They love watching Lion Guard and their friends!

My girlfriend bought this for herself because she is a huge Lion King fan. Not bad coming from a person whi isnt big on the franchise.

I grew up with The Lion King and my godson loves the new lion guard series. I had to buy this for him. He’s 5 and I recommend this for any kid.

Need a little down time? Pop this guy into the DVD, bring out the pop corn and sit the kids down. You would enjoy the movie too.

Another movie in my collection for the kids. It's not entertaining to a parent as it is for the kids, but it's tolerable.
