It was really enjoyable to watch however I have noticed that there is deeper meaning than what is outright presented. It enlightened people about unity and to bring all peoples together. The characters in this movie show what people in this world believe and that people can change. I liked this movie because so many people, especially for the younger children, can relate to the subject of love, friendship, and unity. It brings people from diverse groups together as in the case with all the animals coming together. As stated in the movie, love will find a way. Some things that I did not like was the fact that Zira was so full hatred and that did not help her in the end. It is sad to see but that sometimes represents some people in this world.

I liked this movie when I was a kid, but only had it on VHS previously. I bought this copy to have an updated version for easier viewing and better quality sound/picture. It also comes with a digital copy which is even more convenient! I'm not gonna write a movie review here, but I will say it's pretty decent as far as straight to video sequels go. The music isn't terrible either. All in all, this is a good purchase to modernize your aging Disney VHS collection.

The product was great and JUST what I was searching for my son’s birthday gift. Our online delivery (from a different vendor) failed and left us high & dry! Not only did Best Buy have the movie he wanted, but I was also able to purchase it online the same day as our bday party AND have it brought out to my vehicle (which was full of balloons & presents), and oh how I appreciated that service!

Not terrible, but no where near the grandeur or fun as the original. Young children are going to enjoy it, but for those of us who grew up with the original won't be impressed.

This is probably my favorite Disney sequel! The film is highly underrated. I'm an adult and I loved it. I watched this back when I was a kid and I still remember it to this day. I can only assume kids will love it even more. This is worth adding to your Disney collection. I got it for the wonderful price of $19.99. Thank you to Best Buy for always having the best prices on new releases!

Technically it’s the 3rd movie in the franchise but we won’t talk about that other one. This movie has all the classic feels that makes you love watching Disney movies. Also the musical numbers in this movie are so catchy you’ll sing them over and over again. Highly recommended.

Great movie for the kiddos! Especially after the recent release of the real life Lion King. We now have all the LK movies!

This movie is awesome and enjoyable for the family. Its a great sequal and tell a Romeo and Juliet story and i love it. Its hard to follow the footsteps of the masterpiece that is The Lion King but this movie does its best to become a great follow up. And it succedes

One of the best scores, best plots (it takes after Hamlet), and best character-driven pieces Disney had done to-date. Having this DVD in your repertoire is always a crowd-pleaser. I enjoy teaching Hamlet and finish out my semester showing this DVD with the students.

The wife and I have been fans of Disney movies and show since we were children. We introduce our kids to Disney movies and shows and our grand children. In this day and age it's hard to watch a good family movie.
