I purchased the 4k SteelBook version of the movie and is excellent. they change some of the parts from the original but I give it a 10. I have watch the 4k version twice with like different groups of people and they all enjoy they film as much as I did.

I really enjoy collecting these steel book copies. They really make a great collectors item. I have never been a fan of digital movie downloads as I like owning the hard copy, this makes it a little cooler to have around the house, or to display on a shelf.

This movie is a beautiful work of art. The realism is uncanny. It seems a little odd how often the movie used shot-for-shot scenes with the original, but it was beautiful and entertaining. If a child doesn’t care as much for traditional animation it gives them a chance to experience a wonderful story, an maybe one day they will appreciate the art of the original as well. I recommend this.

Greatest movie of all time regardless of how they make it. Watch movie a hundred times as a kid, now making one as a adult I'll watch this a hundred times with my son. Graphic and story is just like the regular. Glad they remade it. Definitely a 5 star

I truly enjoyed watching this movie. The soundtrack was amazing. I watched the original version with my kids who are 35, 32, and 27 years old now. The nostalgia of that is not comparable to anything. I would much rather watch the original with my 6 year old grandson. The movie was great, but I prefer the original. I’m a sentimental human being! However, I would recommend the movie

Never saw the previous film so have nothing to compare it to. I thought the graphics were excellent and a friend of mine and I watched it together and both loved it. In this day and age of blood, gore and foul mouth this was definitely refreshing.

I’ve always loved the original Lion King but the new Lion King is super good! It surpassed my expectations and did not let me down at all. Absolutely love both movies no hatred towards others id have to say i may actually prefer the new one more....

This is a remake of the original animated Disney film from 25 years ago. How does it hold up? Quite well. The big difference this time is that this version uses CGI characters rather than classic animation with digital enhancements. The CGI is amazing with hyper detail. All of the music from the original is all here, plus new ones. This is a film for the entire family. A must see!

I heard mixed reviews but personally I loved it. Was very much like the animated version and thought they did a fabulous job. I have always been a Disney fan and love all the movies. This one did not disappoint me. A great purchase from my view.

I think the movie was really well done. It brought back a lot of memories from when I first watched it. There was one thing missing that I didn't like but understood. I don't want to give spoilers but it was a true scene for scene remastering.

Blu-Ray is the only way to go. What a great movie . It's better than the original movie

This is the best "Lion King" of the lot, cartoon, stage play and now computer life like animation. The changes to the original fit the characters and are a hoot. The 4-K version is truly a cinematic experience in your home. This Lion King roars.

Another accomplishment by Disney. The Lion King live action DVD is almost as good as the original. The girls really loved it and makes a great addition to our collection. If you are interested in a family movie night this is the one for you.

Another "live action" remake of Disney classics, though technically it's all CGI except for the opening shot of an African sunrise. But you would never know it due to the much improved technology. Same classic story with different voice talent.

The movie was beautiful, picture quality was unlike anything I’ve seen. Just bought a brand new 4K 2160p M series TV and It blew my mind with the picture quality. Movie was amazing and brought me back to childhood days, and It was hilarious!

Well, it's another string of disney remakes and, this time, featuring my favorite movie of all time, The Lion King. The story is the same as I remember it, spare a few musical numbers and a larger development of a villian character who used to be a back drop. I genuinely enjoyed the movie and I think it still stands the test of time. Also in 4K the animation is stunning.

This 4K is beautiful as immersive in depth. It looks way better then the theater quality when I went to go see it. This is a most have for simba fans. ItS not better then the original cartoon but mannnnnn this is the closes your going get.

We loved the original animated Lion King, and were looking forward to the 2019 version. Saw it in the theaters, and had to have it for home. Great movie, great 4K disc. Although Pumba isn't as "cute" as in the original, it was still great!

I’ve loved the Lion King since I was a little girl! My mom surprised me with it and I’m 24. Watched it with my boyfriend and still cried like the first time I watched the movie! The movie is one of my happiest childhood memories! Gooney!

My wife and I saw The Lion King in 3D. We have two miniature Poodles, Sir King Kole and Queen Khloe. Watching the movie at home, the puppies watched the ENTIRE MOVIE with us!! Once in place, they sat right there. Excellent production.
