Awesome remake
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This gives us the same story we know and love but adds a whole other plotline for Eric. I was happy to see that the focus of the movie are both characters and that Eric is treated just as important as Ariel. That aspect exceeds the original. He even gets his own song. Also, Halle did everything in her power to capture the spirit of Ariel and did so beautifully. All of the other characters did great. I REALLY like Eric’s mom, the queen. The music was fantastic.

It's a great live action remake!

It stays true to the animated film while expanding on the story, characters and relationships. The music is great even the new songs work. The special effects are great. The cast is great especially Halle Bailey. If you love the original animated film. I highly recommend the live action remake.

Good Transfer but no Dolby Vision

The HDR works well, especially in the underwater scenes, although its unfortunately not Dolby Vision. For the movie itself, my wife has a soft spot for it, and therefore I enjoy it well enough. For me its a 5.8/10 but she would give it an 8.5/10
