Simply put, this is a terrific film adaptation that greatly expands the original story of the French novelette. For the many who have loved that book and wished for a way to see it brought to life, this is a creative way to portray both the story, and the broader ideas within it. The casting was truly stellar, with star power in almost every position, though not distractingly so - The voice actors never seemed to overpower their roles, but ended up just fitting beautifully; Especially Marion Cotillard, whose repeated role as the rose is so fitting, given her history with the story. However, the review is more for the product, and not the film. With regard to the review of the product, this is a great blu-ray. I would have liked to have a 4K and HDR presentation, but as the film was produced for a 2015 release, with the more simple colour space, and formatting in mind, this is what we get. So, with a good player and TV, this will still look spectacular in this 1080p presentation, and from my limited comparison, still better than the compressed 4K stream from Netf|1x. And more importantly, it will sound better, given the spacious and well managed soundtrack in the form of a Dolby TrueHD 7.1 audio option. Extras are limited to a small "making of" featurette, and a music video. It does not include the music that featured heavily in previews and release trailers, such as the beautiful cover version of "Somewhere Only We Know", as performed by Lily Allen, and originally written by Keane. You will still have to search for that song elsewhere as it never actually featured in the film.

Bought for my teenage daughter, she absolutely loves the little prince.

Lovely film, the Little Prince Story (stop motion) combined with story of a young girl (animation). She discovers the Little Prince & the life lessons that flow from his story.

This is a great classic. Glad it’s finally out on Blu-ray and digital. I’ve been wanting to watch this movie with my kids for a while now.

I loved this film, and I had not seen it before I purchased it, and it is something I would watch again!! Very cool and delightful story!!
