I saw this movie in the mid-late hey it is when I was a kid and then again on the VHS tape and I remember the video quality not being that great except for the one time that I did see it on TV that was the regular 4x3 aspect ratio 22 inch CRT TV that we had. I saw a DVD copy of this and it was ok but not quite there. Then I randomly did a search one day hoping this might have been released on a Blu Ray and lo and behold found it on Best Buy here an ordered it right away I've received it in the mail three days later and watched it and I was blown away by the restored and remastered Blu-ray which also features the original 2-channel audio as well as the enhanced 5.1 and a 7.1 surround track. This is one of those Hidden Gem movies from the very first zombie era and I've really highly suggest that for anyone that's a George Romero Night of the Living Dead and Dawn of the Dead cult classic horror movie fans.

Highly recommended if you enjoy 70's horror movies.

Not really that well known…..but should be….it’s one of the best zombie movies out there.

In between Night of the Living Dead and Dawn of the Dead was Living Dead at the Manchester Morgue. AKA "Let Sleeping Corpses Lie", this is an essential piece of early 70s zombie cinema. With makeup effects by the same person who did them for Fulci's Zombie, this is a real gem of a film. Don't expect hoards of zombies... the living dead are small in number, but the film still works and packs some genuine chills. If you're a fan of zombie cinema, this is essential viewing that predates Dawn of the Dead.

The characters in this movie act so abnormal. I don't think the writer had any idea how to write dialog or someone messed up on the translation. The movie isn't very popular and most people blame it on the fact that the film has gone through so many different name changes. I believe it's simply because the movie is very slow moving and has barely any payoff.

This movie isn't a horrible 2 rated movie. It has some nice old/foreign zombie action in it. I just couldnt recommend this movie too most people as they would probably find it boring. A zombie collector this is a must have though.
