Classic Burt

I've owned the DVD for a long time. I was always waiting for the Blu-Ray to be released. It doesn't disappoint. The picture is great. I just wish they had remastered in into surround sound.

Maybe Burt Reynolds's best film?

It's a thrilling reminder of what we love about him: the easy swagger, the rough-and-tumble physicality, and the surprising quirkiness. And the movie around him is even better! Not only is it just a top-notch sports picture, but it illustrates director Robert Aldrich's favorite theme: the necessary struggle of the community against a corrupt authority. Just a singular '70s movie.

Fantastic upgrade

Blast to the past

The Longest Yard in 4K is excellent!

I am very pleased with the product but NOT the fact that the 4K took 2 weeks to arrive after the release date.
