A movie that should be in everyone's library. Very entertaining, but with an important message. Good must always engage evil. As much as we would prefer to sit by in our cozy homes and let it be "someone else's business", evil must be confronted by everyone where ever it is encountered. While it all comes to a head in middle earth, obviously, parallels can be drawn to everytime in history, including the present.

I can't begin to express how much I loved this movie. The atmosphere, the characters, the story, the heart, the emotion, the journey. Oh god! It was amazing! And Peter Jackson, wow! What a director! He literally made the entire trilogy better than Tolkien himself could ever have imagined, as Jackson clearly loved the source material and set out to make it stronger.

Had never had the chance to view this flick but once I saw it I couldn't believe how awesome and visually amazing it is. The Steelbook has a nice matte/flat finish and it looks great on the shelf. This edition also includes a special features DVD which is a great thing to add along with the Blu-Ray film.

This film has been seen by just about everybody above the age of 10 at this point. This is a worthwhile steelbook to buy, especially for fans. The classic poster art looks terrific in metal. Just so potential buyers know, this is the theatrical cut only. It's still worth a purchase.

Don’t wait and just get it. The price is amazing for this high of quality steelbook. If it’s in stock when you read this buy it immediately you will not regret it.

LOTR's is a classic and this one is just the beginning. What a journey we're taken on and it's only the start of things to come! An awesome Steel Book from Best Buy and the contents just happen to be one of the greatest cinematics to come along in a while. Get this if you can.

Would of loved for it to be the extended edition as well as the theatrical but film company's need that $$$ steel books look sleek and perfect for any collection must have would like to see a steel book set with both versions of the movie as well as the hobbit movies

Since my only copy of this movie was a VHS, I had to wait to watch this movie when it showed up on TV. Now that I found a DVD on BestBuy I can enjoy it whenever I feel like watching it! My whole family is into the Lord of the Ring series and was thrilled when I purchased the DVD.

Awesome movie for my collection. Glad I upgraded my DVD to the Blu-ray version. Visuals are mind blowing. Must have for fans of the series.

This steelbook includes the theatrical version of fellowship, and this is a top notch bluray as far as picture and sound go. The special features are decent, and this edition comes in a steelbook packaging with graphics on the discs.

I bought the DVD for my 11-year old son who thought the movie was terrific. He's watched all three movies in the trilogy, and they made him very interested in The Lord of the Rings book which he is now reading.

While not as impressive as it is on the big screen, the Blu-ray version is a pleasure to watch. The clarity and colors seem unreal they are so vivid. The whole series is great and fun to watch again and again.

The film is part of a very well-written trilogy, well-acted and beautifully captured in this Blu-Ray HD quality. My boyfriend bought this for us to watch together and it was spectacular. No problems at all!

If you like it, buy it. I just want my points and think it's stupid you have to make a review to get them.

I am reading the book, so I decided to watch the movie again. While obviously not exactly the same as the book, Peter Jackson did an excellent job telling the story in a different medium.

Such a great movie! Owned it before, along with #2 and #3, but #1 went missing and we just had to recomplete the trilogy!!!

I bought this as a gift for my sister she was very happy. I enjoyed Lord of the ring movie's to, so I had to get these for my self also. Thanks Best buy!

This is my favorite of the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Can’t go wrong with this steel book. Highly recommended.
