Love Donny Yen. His IP Man movies are some of the best martial arts movies ever made. This movie is quite different being set in ancient China. More of a war/warrior story than a martial arts movie. Donny Yen never disappoints.

My mom loves action movies like this. Couldn't help but pick it up because I knew she didn't have it. She loved it. Despite the subtitles. Lol

Excellent acting and even though story was simplified. One of mine admired hero of ancient time story. Exciting fighting scene.

I have become enamored with Donnie Yen, He brings a certain power to his roles that many stars lack today, even though his many films are subtitled it's his ability to emote through his body movement and timing on so many emotional levels that make this and his many films a must see event.

I like Donnie Yen, he always does a good job. Lots of martial art scenes.

I liked this movie it just didn't have enough...of anything really. I saw the cover and I knew the face and thought I was going to be in for a treat but was kind of disappointed. But I love Karate films and thought it was good just not the kind of action I like to see.

This movie is in HD and the story is entertaining by itself. However, the movie is about General Guan in Chinese history and the movie is way off from historical records. Quite a few Chinese would be probably even angry about the fake story set forth in the movie.

Superb job on the acting, glad they let them speak Chinese throughout, made it that more interesting. He has to make a sequel and keep this going until he starts something else.

I enjoy a lot of the movies from hong kong and china. this one did not disappoint.

The story is a bit hard to believe but the action sequences help to get you through it.
