Good 80s movie to watch if you like vampire movies

Lost Boys is no instant classic or anything, but it's a fun 80s throwback that is absolutely perfect to throw in the machine every October when that Halloween mood is right. (Well, maybe every other October.)

It's been years since I first saw this movie. Though it is somewhat dated it was still fun to see again.

Given the price, it as a simple decision to revisit this flick for the first time in decades.

If you are an 80's junkie, maybe you'll like this movie. The clothes and haircuts are dated. The music and vampire make-up are dated. The whole film is dated. Too much comic relief does not work. Not enough action. Not scary at all. You'll be better off watching any episode of BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER or ANGEL.

This was an awesome movie when i was a younger fella but it doesn't hold up to the test of time. Don't ruin your memories like I did.

Loved this movie when it first came out but it did not age well. Try Flatliners instead as it has held it's own.

There's nothing about Peter Pan in here. Like, at all. Am I missing something?

The Lost Boys is an iconic 80s horror/comedy film from 1987. This classic film contains a stellar cast and is entertaining from beginning to end. The Blu Ray transfer is quite spectacular!!! This film has never looked so good.

While the film is/was an 80's vampire classic, it still is enjoyable to watch present day. This Blu Ray version is an improvement over the up-converted DVD release. Though some close-ups looked smeary or painted with no pores or lines on faces. Black levels are very good and audio is better than it had ever sounded on any previous release of the film which includes a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround presentation. Extras are carried over from the DVD but unfortunately are not in HD. For fans of the film, this present Blu Ray is the way to go

well what can i say about lost boys it is a good 80's movie and it has a killer soundtrack it is not the best vampire movies but it is worth owning on blu-ray bc the picture and sound is very good plus it has extras and the if you are a fan of the i would buy the steel-book version so check it out if you like the movie or if you are a fan of vampire movies

If you love corey haim or corey feldmen you will love this movie. It's not really scary but a little funny vampire movie. It's very entertaining you would'nt want to miss any of the scenes. I really liked the whole movie. I didn't hate any part of it. I am really glad that they had this movie and I will be back....

When I had a chance to put this movie on, I enjoyed every second of it. It was hilarious yet full of action and surprises which is missing in a lot of horror movies about Vampires these days. This is a great quality blu ray release with lots of special features.

Great music, great cast and an awsome story puts this movie on my top 10 and definately top 3 vampire movies with Bram Stoker's Dracula and An Interview With a Vampire. While those movies study the "old" vampires this movie deals with the younger, cooler aspect of the vampire life.

"The Lost Boys" is a seminal movie from the mid/late-1980's. From the soundtrack, to the cast, everything clicked. And this Blu-Ray transfer looks and sounds much better than the previously-release DVD copies.
