I watched this as a kid, and decided to add it to the collection om Bluray. This movie is still pretty solid.

This classic movie from the '80's still holds up pretty well after all these years. At the time it debuted, it was probably the best vampire movie to date, blending horror, comedy, romance, chic and geek all into one package. It has a great cast full of hot actors and actresses from the '80's - faces you may have forgotten but will instantly recognize. Despite being once extremely popular, this former classic is now surprisingly hard to find. Luckily for me, Best Buy had it on Blu-ray for only $5! Insta-buy for me!

Great 80s Sci Fi/Horror/comedy with great cast. Jami Gertz was so hot in the day. Well casted and acted with Kiefer Sutherland in most memorable role, Jason Patric, Corey Haim. Dianne Wiest. Excellent comedic memorable lines like "If you are not a vampire then are you the flying nun?". Great family horror movie as unlike todays horror movies which I call autopsy movies there is no gore and no nudity.

This film has got to be one of the greatest vampire flicks ever to be conceived, it's atmosphere is a total 180 from previous movies of the same genre. The vampires are cool and have their own personal aesthetic which adds character to the movie. The only other film to be as good as this one would have to Near Dark (1987).

I loved this movie when it first came out, seen it so often over the years on TV ( cut version of course) most I think we're just beginning their careers too and yet were so good. Alot if bonuses with this movie which was my reason to buy and own the movie to watch it in the original version.

This is an awesome classic horror film, plus not to mention part of the Brat Pack collection, any movie lover/horror film fan must have this in their movie collection, very happy with purchase and highly recommend.

If you enjoy this movie at all, it is well worth the buy. Considering the age of the film, it stands up very well. I've had multiple versions of the DVD, including the newest version, and the Blu-ray is far superior. Colors and Contrast are handled near perfect. Black levels are solid as well. The only issue I noticed was a bit of softness in some scenes, but nothing really distracting. I mean, come on! The film is over 20 years old! Without a doubt this is the best this movie is ever going to look. So if you are a fan, buy it!

Got this in October of 2017, when BB had some cheaper horror out for Halloween. I wish they’d bring back a proper horror section, like in the old days when they used to have Unearthed Films and the like. Either way, it was a treat to see this great (and totally loaded) Blu Ray of a classic fim for $6.

Ah the 80's...back when vampire movies were more scary than sweet. Director Joel Shumacher does a fantastic job blending comedy and horror in the 80's vampire classic. Amazing soundtrack as well! One star removed for no digital copy. I know some movies we released before that was a thing, but by now, studios should figure out a way to give us a digital credit.

The lost boys will forever be a classic. This movie is action packed from the beginning to end and Jason Patric couldn’t be more beautiful if you haven’t seen this you definitely need to purchase this:)
