The Machine was definitely a sleeper flick, but is certainly a diamond in the rough! A solid story and great acting make for a genuinely fantastic experience. It's been receiving a LOT of comparisons to Blade Runner, and definitely has the vibe, but don't go into it expecting a "Blade Runner 2" experience. It has a similar feel, but is very much its own movie. There's a few nice plot twists, and some great moments that go against the grain of typical Hollywood storytelling. It's not for everyone, but for fans of "thinking-man's sic-fi," it won't disappoint.

This movie is a clever mix of science and psychology. It raises the question how far would you go for the ones you love. It might not turn out the way you expect. Nice film.

So the movie The Machine isn't a bad movie. The plot and storyline are good and the visuals are pretty good as well. Overall The Machine is a good class B movie that really feels like Terminator knock off.
