This is a Korean movie, so if subtitles bother you, be warned. There is an Indian remake of this, a Bollywood version if you will. This one is 10 times better. Fight scenes are spectacular, humor is good, and the lead actor really does a great job! This move and Raid:Redemption are the 2 movies I always recommend for people who are curious about Asian action movies.

I heard a lot about this movie as it tends to be a bit of a cultural reference in Korea, and I had to look it up in Wikipedia for the American title since it is known as "Ajussi" in Korea.

This is one of the great movies that are coming out of South Korea lately. Great action with a good storyline and looks awesome as well.

I loved this film. The action scenes are fantastic and I really like the soundtrack, as well.

Very good action thriller! Dark themes but great performances, especially the little girl, and don't be afraid of the subtitles !

A little too slow for me but the acting was great along with the action scenes

This Korean movie mines from the same vein as films like "Taken," "Man on Fire" and others. Here a man who has withdrawn from his violent world and life in general comes back to save a little girl. The hero gives a good performance although he seems a little young to have given up on life. The villains are completely despicable. And the little girl, who is treated cruelly by nearly everyone in her world but still soldiers on with a good heart, is brought to life by a truly remarkable little actress. Unfortunately, there seem to have been major flaws in the dvd production. I bought five discs. None of them played without some freezing or stopping incident. I finally kept one which played everything but one chapter. That shows how much I liked the movie and how widespread the problem with the dvd is. (Can't speak to the Blu-Ray.) So this is very much a buyer be warned recommendation.

This is a great movie. Wasn't expecting much, but the action scenes are done very well. The plot could have been better and Korean writers seem to not know how to end a movie very well.

This movie rocks! You will not be disappointed. Plenty of excitement, good acting, and brilliantly choreographed fight scenes.
