WOW! Ok, you've probably heard this one picked or panned to death, but, SEE IT FOR YOURSELF! I enjoyed this one immensely, partially because I'm a card carrying OOG (Official Old Guy) myself, and can relate to this story. The title is a bit off putting, but what else COULD they call it? Elliott is spot on in this portrayal, with heart and spirit to spare; He DOES achieve both tasks mentioned in the title with flair, style, and a sense of being there. Everyone involved here is pitch perfect, and clearly enjoying themselves and a strong, very young director. Great story, great cinematography, TWO threatening monsters, and imagination to spare. The disc looks great, plenty of welcome supplements, and the sound is awesome when blasted properly. Overall HIGHLY RECOMMENDED on all counts.............ENJOY!

I had low expectations for this movie but, it was a good movie.Sam Elliott did a great acting job. The only part I really disliked was the fact they did a horrible job with how they portrayed the Bigfoot (horrible outfit).

This is such a surprising film for how moving it is. Don't let the title fool you. Sam Elliot is great in this.

This is a movie that we have not seen and we were delighted when I was able to purchase it from BestBuy at a good price so my wife and I can watch it anytime we want.

This story-line is intended for a Mature Audience. It is well-written, superbly acted by its lead actors as-well-as the entire acting staff who were all on-point and it was tied together by a knowledgeable Writer, Producer and Director Robert D. Krzykowski. The writer intelligently utilizes several “flash-backs” to tie story together. It is a saga of unquestioning values and the tireless desire to accomplish the mission in the face of absolute opposition. The films sound-track was well-chosen and it was superbly fitted to each scene amplifying its’ spirit. This is the kind of film that will beckon you back for another view and another! In a word, it is audacious. This is a very special and unique film, and its’ immensity of scope of the saga really becomes evident through successive views. Flashbacks are very successfully used to tell the story of both young and old Calvin. The episode opening sets the tenner and the tone for the rest of this action/adventure film which is a solid view. Must it must be said, this film’s 39 minute featurette The Making of “The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then the Bigfoot” is time well-spent!

This is a good action movie with a good plot and good acting and a believable story line that takes you back and forth through different periods of time from one man’s perspective. This movie seems to touch all the bases war, Love and romance and some parts that just make you wonder What If and I would say it has a good ending. This movie is worth a look and worth the purchase price.

Our family watched this movie this weekend. It was not what we was expecting. Don’t know if we will watch it again

I would have never expected this title for a Sam Elliott movie. Sam is gold in every movie role that I’ve ever seen!!!

This is one of those movies that comes in under the radar, but when you come across it you will be surprised.

This movie is a complete disaster. Plain and simple. I heard a few good reviews about it and I love Sam Elliot as an actor so I was suckered into buying this. Honestly one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Boring, no plot or and real purpose to the story, unlikable characters, and stupid flashbacks I can go on and on.

What a disappointment! How do you take the ingredients of Big Foot, Sam Elliot, killing Hitler and turn these into a boring mess? The makers of this film did all of that with aplomb. Avoid this stinker unless you seek being comatose.
