James Stewart and Doris Day in this classic Suspense Thriller.
A tale of innocent American tourists in Morocco whose son's kidnapping sets off a twisting plot of international intrigue.
A Doctor (Stewart) and his wife/singer (Day) are on a trip from London to Marrakesh when their son is kidnapped. A man they recently had dinner with is murdered in from of them. His dieing words tell of a plot to assassinate a leader in London. Desperate to get their son back, the couple do not tell the police, but instead try to find and negotiate with the kidnappers/killers themselves.
Can they get their son back safely, AND stop the assignation??

This Suspense-Thriller is backed by a killer combination if acting – Stewart who "slow-talked" the best of them and Doris Day – the refreshing girl-next-door. Hitchcock had an uncanny knack for coming up with the unusual and this mystery hit the jackpot. It’s a great view.

This is one of my favorite Hitchcock Movies! Doris Day and Jimmy Stewart work well together. Day sings probably her most famous song - "Que Sera, Sera (What Will Be, Will Be)"

Such a shame that this great movie was released on the blu ray format without correcting some major problems such as print damage and color issues. Still an excellent movie that deserved to be preserved with a lot more TLC than it received. What a shame!!!
