I enjoyed it on the big screen and was able to enjoy it on my little screen . I was a great movie and could be the way it would be on Mars. Because not young, I do not expect to see a man on Mars in my lifetime. I hope it come true. Next best thing.

The Martian is a great movie about one man's survival on a foreign and environmentally hostile planet. Matt Damon is excellent in his role, and the movie's story and technical offerings are both great as well. The Blu-ray looks and sounds fantastic.

More then a science fiction movie. Better than Gravity. When I first saw the ad I thought the movie looked stupid. Then people start to rave about the film, so I saw it. The movie was captivating. The ending is more sci fi/ Armageddon type of ending.

I read the book, which was fantastic and then saw the movie. This movie followed the book perfectly and was just what I was looking for. It had enough science, humor and matt damon. This movie is one of the best movies I've seen in a very long time!

Most movies about space or being stranded somewhere are dower and no fun. This one is uplifting and exciting. Makes you want them to start sending people to Mars! There are some harrowing parts, but overall you're left happy with this film.

It is not often that a film has you gripping your seat with intense anticipation and fear and have you laughing out loud in the same scene. Matt Damon pulls off this amazing feat in Ridley Scott's "The Martian". Easily one of the best films of 2015.

Matt Damon shows us what innovation is all about. That's right , necessity is the mother of all invention. What Damon has to do to stay alive on Mars as he awaits help from home drives the movie home for its audience. It's something you have to see.

I honestly understood all of the sciences behind what he did in this movie..but was very intrigued and would never be able to pull off what he did in this movie. Its a great movie of survival and how knowledge certainly can be a life saver.

Best Buy had this movie for a great price during the first week of its release. I couldn't find "The Martian" on Blu-ray locally and in-store for a better price anywhere else. Thanks! I really enjoyed this movie; the picture quality is outstanding.

This was one of the best science fiction films since "2001: A Space Odyssey" and is also one of my favorite new films that I really enjoyed. I think that this film had a great cast, plot and storyline including a lot of action and suspense as well.

The movie is captivating and is not your typical outerspace si-fi movie. This one actually has a good storyline and keeps you engaged throughout the entire movie. The 3D effects were great and added a positive contribution to an already good show.

We just purchased our Samsung 75" 4k UHDTV and wanted to check out the 3D. We bought the fantastic "MARTIAN" blue ray DVD, in 3D. We put on our Samsung 3D glasses and were very impressed with the depth and clarity of this movie and its 3D quality.

I didn't get around to seeing this when it was in theaters, but after hearing good word of mouth about it, decided to pick up the blu-ray. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie - well-acted, engaging, and even comedic at times. I definitely recommend it!

I saw this movie in the theater and loved it . Recently got an LG OLED TV and Sony 4K player from Best Buy and let me tell it was like watching the movie for the first time, absolutely stunning picture and sound. Highly recommended.

Fans of matt damon will enjoy this space adventure.This really shows the endurance of the human spirit of never giving up in nearly impossible circumstances.Matt Damon lens credibility to his performance in this excellent space adventure.

Although it has a good ending, the problems encountered by Matt is truly a possiblity as we continue to puch the envelope. We must however overcome and keep moving on this our most important goal of going where no man has gone...

This is an outstanding movie! Too many sci-fi movies have so much alien outrageousness that it's a challenge to buy into. This movie seems so real that you really find yourself drawn in! Extremely well-done. A must-have for every sic-fi movie fan.

This movie was one of my favorite Dramas in a long while. Matt Damon does a fantastic job carrying the movie and displays an amazing range from dark reflective drama to crass humor. A must see for any Sci-Fi fans or anyone who enjoys good movies.

Not your typical astronauts movie. Although it has its fair share of space dangers and scientific talk, it also has a very human and funny side to it along with a great climatic ending. Had to buy it to watch anytime. Loved the cast too.

Very cool, totally believable ( well it could happen someday within the next 30 years or so ) movie. It's nice to know that Hollywood can make a good movie, that's fun to watch, that doesn't have a fight scene or explosion every 20 to 30 seconds.
