The Martian movie is definitely a must watch for any sci-fi geek. When I first saw this movie at the theaters it had my attention from beginning to end. I would definitely recommend this movie for anyone who is into sci-fi movies.

Can't stand Matt Damon so was surprised at how incredible this movie is (watched on a flight and had to buy as soon as we landed, shocked and thrilled with best buys low price). Incredibly funny and sweet movie.

Entertaining and educational at the same time. The picture is fantastic and the audio matches. More movies need to provide this .

This is one of the rare instances of a movie holding its own against the book from which it was adapted. Obviously, there was a lot cut to keep the movie a reasonable length but I didn't feel like they shortchanged us. Great movie!

An excellent movie that has a bit of something for everyone. Some action, some suspense, some drama and even some comedy. Matt Damon is excellent on this sort of Castaway twist! I will watch it several times and definitely recommend it!

An extraordinary movie displaying the human Spirit need to survive. Enjoy the movie very much I'm surprised he didn't win an Oscar for the movie I can see this happening in real life. If u lovel interstellar this is right up your alley.

Even non sci-fi fans can enjoy this film, as its really a story of survival amidst almost impossible odds. The acting and direction is superb. The bluray is excellent, with outstanding picture and sound. A highly recommended film for all

Not much depend on this movie, before watch. I thought - It is just one of THE GRAVITY , but it is not. The Storm make big situation to everyone, than they work together for rescue the survivor.... It is good story,and directing too.

This was a hopeful vision of the future that places Mars within the reach of man. The story includes a good amount of physics reasoning without neglecting the emotional experience of the Martian. It's a great journey out of this world.

The Martian is a science fiction film starring Matt Damon and directed by Ridley Scott. I'm a big fan of Ridley Scott's work as a director, but I feel that most of his recent films have been very hit and miss.

This very good movie could be titled "The Matt Damon Show" because of how dominant Mr. Damon was in this movie. His performance ran the gamut from A to Z; most surprising was the use of humor to lighten things a tad. While I didn't think it was among the best movies of the year (my best movie of the year choice: "Spotlight"), "The Martian" was most entertaining and worth two-plus hours of your time.

I love this movie. It shows how strong the human spirit can be. I was very surprised by how much I enjoyed this movie. One man left behind on Mars and what not only he goes thru but everyone back on Earth as well.

Very entertaining movie - but don't be looking at this movie for the traditional action sequences. It's much more about the human spirit and facing challenges. Think of it as "Castaway (the Tom Hanks movie where he's stranded) in Space"

I was pleasantly surprised by this movie...I wasn't sure if it was something I would like...I did like it...perfect picture and sound that enveloped you at the right times

The thing I loved about the film was how scientifically accurate the story was. Everything they show in the film is more science-fact than fiction. Acting was great, the story was tense. One of the better films of this genre I've seen.

I love love love this movie. It's long, but it's soooo worth it. I'm not a huge fan of Damon, but I couldn't have picked a better actor for this role. I got this as a gift for my father. Needless to say, he loved it.

OK - that might be overstating it a little, but this is definitely one of the best Sci Fi movies in a while. Acting is great, visuals are great - well cast. Matt Damon sure has a history of acting in films where he needs to be rescued!

Great movie. I really enjoyed it and the quality on the 4k disc was exceptional. I would recommend this one on 4k.
