I was empress with the deep colors of the movie. The idea that the producers came up with is a good story for all ages. It shows the never give up attitude. I have it 3-D, This movie is well worth having in your library.

This story both frightens you in its incitement of the loneliness of man as well as encourages you in his intelligence and its rescue of a man who is left behind to survive in an unforgiving, hostile environment.

This was the first time I seen this movie. It was so good. I was just leaning toward the tv as I watched. It was just about one of the best movies I have seen with this actor staring in it.

This is an excellent movie and Matt Damon does a terrific job. Best Buy has a really good selection of movies both older and new releases. I would check it out if I were you,great movies good prices.

I bought this before 4K UHD came out it is great and 3-D fantastic. However, I have purchased Samsung UBD-K 8500 Blu -ray player and I got 4k version of this movie. Super picture great to see what 4k can really display.

If you like the original version of this movie, the extended version is even better. The additional content really helped this movie make more sense, without just making it longer. Bravo!

If you read the book it doesn't quite live up to it but the scenes they included were well done and it was a great movie to watch. The extras are always good and interesting, but not really worth an extra $5. Your call.

I love movie with actual scientific background. And this movie really holds up. Darn good flick. I recommend to any space enthusiast.

I'm not a Matt Damon fan at all, but I really liked him in this and loved the movie. Matt does a good job of keeping you hanging on his every word and move. The movie is excellent from start to finish.

I loved this movie when I saw it in the theatres so knew I'd have to buy it when it came out on DVD/Bluray. It's funny and exciting. I also recently read the book and the movie did a great job of capturing its spirit.

I read the book, and this is a wonderful adaptation of it. If you didn't like the book because it was "overly geeky" with too much emphasis on math and calculations, then you would like the movie more, because even though they still talked calculations and science, it wasn't completely focused on that, and the book ended abruptly (or I thought it did) but the movie doesn't.

My family wanted to see this movie but it was still too expensive to purchase through On Demand, Netflix, etc. I couldn't pass up the sale price when I was in the Best Buy store. Now we can view it over and over again.

Purchased this UHD blu ray release after I bought the Samsung UHD blu ray player. The quality of the picture and sound is definitely better than the standard blu ray release, which was excellent in its own right.

I know there is should be nothing funny about getting stuck on Mars by yourself, but Matt Damon's character makes it a comical experience. My family really enjoyed this movie and in 4K, it looks all the better.

Entertaining movie with great cast. I didn't get a chance to watch this movie on the big screen but based on reviews from family and friends I figured this many people couldn't be wrong. This movie will not disappoint!

Great movie Matt Damon is lost again and if you added up all the money spent finding him we could probably build a real space ship to go to Mars. Look forward to finding him again in future indevers.

Great movie and wasn’t going to pay to rent, so bought the Blu-ray and digital version so I can watch anytime I want!

I absolutely loved this movie. The acting was superb. Mat Damon did an outstanding job, the concept of being stranded on Mars and figuring out how to survive in those elements was amazing. An excellent feel good movie.

The Martian is an entertaining and unique look at what it would be like to be stranded on Mars... as a really smart astronaut and botanist. The movie smartly handles making the real world science relatable to the general public while also intriguing us as to how it all is possible. Unexpectedly funny and compelling, The Martian is a good movie that is well worth seeing.
